Wow quite a concept and well told. I enjoyed it.
The idea of reanimating a body after months under ground kind of squiks me out, but I guess it's not much different from him being in a coma for all those months - if the soul magic somehow kept his body from deteriorating.
Sorry, I tend to analyze too much. It was a lovely story. Anytime HG gets to nurse SS back to health and he learns to love her for it always gets a smile from me.
this is dark.
bringing back his burried body.
*shudder*
must get used to this thought first.
glad this only happens in wizzarding world.
oh Harry, she is not hurting herself. she is just feeling most intensely, more than ever again in her whole life.
What she was going through must be like a decent suicide for the sake of being with the beloved one that is dead already .just with the difference that she has intense contact to the soul of that person.
how to let go.
so hard to answer.
hard to go through.
intersting that again the malfoys did help.
I like your way of describing Mrs Malfoys style and behaviour.
and your explanation, why Snapes soul transforms in a silver box. rare, precious, but only few will know its value, worn, unpolished, and closed to everyone who doesn't know how to open.
shut away as he always had to be.
wow !
this is exciting
the silver box. still funny. but why not.
and now she is unconscious.
they meet and have a "Conversation" together?
the two souls meet in her body then?
where are they now. why is she unconscious.
its interesting that the malfoys should be there for help and assistance.
how to heal and free a soul.
you are quite interesting.
quick to the next chapter
how in the world did you get to this Idea!
this is just grant
a bit strange first, but your explanation holds, I think.
interesting for me anyhow.
all's well that ends well, by any means necessary. potter is stubbornly bullheaded. im most disappointed in snapes colleagues. they know what he went through. i guess its too much to ask of their narrow minds to finally wish him happiness.
oh! that potter goes too far. he should go and dally w/ginevra a bit. *whatever* he needs a chill pill.
harry is a wild card. in this case, i think hes onto something.
intriguing.....think ill stay and have a cuppa.
Beautiful. Just beautiful!
And quite a unique premise in this ship. That is a rare and precious thing!
I enjoyed all of this.
I loved it! It's perfectly perfect, to steal a phrase.
Somehow, this is a little to weird to me. Not the story...this.
The other day I was in the cubbyhole that is underneath the eave inside my bedroom. I opened the door (always a bit like Alice down the rabbit hole, going in one of those things. I've lived in three houses with one of those- but anyway) I was making room to hide Christmas presents, when all of a sudden, I heard a clank, and there in the dim (because there is no light switch in there) was my antique reproduction sterling silver box staring me in the face. I don't know how it got out of the storage container, but it was sitting there on top of it, all tarnished, but not too worse for wear.
And then, to come upon this story today...ironic, huh?
I'm so glad there is a happy ending. Thanks for a lovely and very original story.
Brava! What a terrific little jaunt. Enjoyed it immensely.
A very interesting take on necromancy. I think the Malfoys are well drawn in this drabble series - they are not often portrayed as either sympathetic or neutral, and less often as intelligent, capable wizards. (I think they are supposed to be intelligent and capable in canon.)
I do agree with you that the ending is a little abrupt. You describe Snape's body as feeling "...solid lead." But there's no indication if he got better or worse.
I always enjoy your drabbles. They're funny and poignant. Thank you!
Can't wait for the next chapter..
I really hope she's n her way to find a way to be with him. I would prefer n life better than in death but if it has to be. Severus deserves the happiness. And she, too.
Poor Harry just wouldn't understand. Not in this, but yes, I do suppose the Malfoys would.
What? I'm interested to see Harry's explanation of that!
It's more than interesting, it's taken my breath away and I don't how I'll survive 'til next chapter. !i want to know what will happen next more than anything.
Ah. The penny drops. This truly is fabulous.
Gosh your clever. I likey.
It certainly was as good as the first. I hope there's a happy ending for them somehow.
