Well, she saw faeries but she wasn't just a Muggle. Does that mean there is no hope? Considering what you answered me I should think all will be well in the end.

She didn't know she was magical then either, and she was Muggle-born so I think it counts! Lol. You know Hermione, she loves a mystery.
I know Severus is strong but I doubt he'll be able to fight "the Call". I also know Hermione is a kind hearted woman but these circumstances are special. I'm very curious about the outcome.

mmm. Well you know me and my happy ending fetish. Nuff said!
*sigh of contentment* I'm back from my trip where I had no internet access (pure torture, I think I'm a real geek) and WOW: 3 chapters for my pleasure to read! I can't wait to see Draco's face when he heard the bad news.

Welcome back from obscurity! I know how it feels, lol! Glad you're enjoying the story so far x
Yay! i'm glad a few things were explained to me in this chapter (yeah, I'm slow LOL). I'm so looking forward to (as HBAR so brilliantly called it) the lightbulb moment!
Response from neelix (Author of Blood, Sex, Love, Magic)
lol... it does happen of course. This is Hermione we're talking about! Thanks for reviewing xx
What were those men worried about? She took the news just fine and so all is well now, right? Oh, wait. That's just because the chapter ended before we were properly able to witness her lightbulb moment. I suppose her true reaction remains to be seen. But she respects and admires him, and is always willing to help the underdog, so surely she'll just go with it. End of story. Straightforward. *Looks again to see who wrote this tale* Oh... disregard that. Gulp.

Am I really that devious? Do I really take the long way around when a short cut would be so much quicker? Well, ordinarily yes! But in this instance things move fast, becasue I was under pressure to submit the story for the Exchange! I would have loved to have strung it out a bit... lol!
This is such an exciting first chapter. I can't wait to read the others chapters.

A wonderful fic!! Congratulations for a great work =]
I have not read any of the Twilight stories nor seen the movies, so this was an exciting change from the normal SS/HG stories that I read obsessively and fairly exclusively for the last 12 years. Thank you for contiuing to write this ship.
I loved this story. I know you had a time limit, so there are some things I wanted to know. What does the changeing involve? Is it different for every author or is it a fairly well known fact of vampire lore?
I loved the Calling and our honorable Potions Master's mastery of his impulses that showed his quality as the good man we know that he truely is. I say fie on Albus for not thinking Severus was worthy of Hermione at first!
I also really loved Hermione's mature response to the situation.
Another question I have is, did his dad need to be killed at a cross road? I've heard of waiting at a cross road for the devil to come and give one a special desired talent in exchange for selling one's soul to him. Is it best to kill vampires at a cross road?
I just want to say you are a marvoulous writer. Everything made sense. It flowed as it should have. I felt excited to get to the next chapeter. The romance was splendid and it was not a stretch to believe that Hermione could fall in love with Severus that quickly.
Thank you for sparing me the details of the delivery of the twins. As a prepared childbirth educator and doula the birth part of many stories have Hermione going into labor without an apparent plan for birthing her child which seems quite un-Hermione like to me. Maybe I'll write one sometime where Hermione and Severus do a water birth and hypnobirthing. It will be an opportunity to see what they are both made of.
I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this story. There was just the right amount of angst without making you wish they would hurry up and fix things because it was becoming tiresome and stressful. I only read happy endings and Your story made me feel happy!

Loved this!
This story was a lot of fun to read. I appreciate you sharing with us!!
Sorry this is probably brutally honest, but..
I nearly turned away from it at the beginning when I read he was a vampire (these "vampire Snape" stories always sound so rediculous to me), but luckily I recognized your name from other stories I've enjoyed, and stuck it out to the end. Overall I liked it; there was enough interesting material to keep me reading. I'm also a sucker for marriage law and Snape stories. However, I'm glad you kept the twilight prompt till the very end because that would have made me run screaming at the beginning (can't stand that series).
