Of course they had to have twins. It was a lovely stoey and I'd love to see an epilogue where she is actually turned. I'm quite curious about that.

A boy, a girl, and a happy ending. What more could we ask for? Except... what happens with the turning, the kids, the stroppy relationship? Thanks for posting another fun read.

Hooray for a happy ending!  Yes, I know, there was never any doubt with you.  Still, I get nervous at times.  A boy and a girl ... the perfect family.  But now that I am soaking up my happy ending, I've started thinking about what happens to their kids.  They aren't strigoi, so do the parents outlive them and have to watch their kids die when they as the parents have so much life ahead of them?  Do they have to turn them at some point?  I guess the family line has to continue as that is the point of the story, but do all of the kids get turned, or it is optional?  You don't have to actually answer any of that if the answers don't exist, but leave it to me to find something to shatter the perfect ending.Anyhow, this was fun and I'm glad it all turned out well.

You're not very nice, Neelix.  That had better be a good "You'd better sit down."Otherwise, this was a nice chapter :)  I am glad that she was able to hear his story and not be angry, or disappointed, or frightened, or any of the other things that could have happened.  He really is a lucky wizard.Hermione thought sadly that it would be wonderful to make love without the nagging hope that this would be the time that worked.That must be so stressful for them both.  I, too, look forward to the day when it is purely for recreation and not such a chore (Not that it really seems like a chore to them!)  I hope more is on the way.

Well that wasn't nearly as awkward as it could have been.Snape groaned and nodded, then lifted his spoon and began to eat. Slowly. Ha!  You'd think he would know better than to prolong the inevitable.  If there are no other guarantees in the world, it is certain that Hermione will have a million questions. Maybe next time he downs a shot of blood, she will climb right up on his lap and have herself a taste.  That would take care of the awkward, "is there going to be a second kiss" question, LOL.

Love how he used his Slytherin wiles to give her the necessary information without contravening his oath. :)

Poor guy!  She is killing him slowly with her mere presence, and she has no idea.  Well, until the end, maybe.  I will be very interested to see what happens next time they meet up.
