I loved your wonderful epilogue!  I'm not sure why, right now, but it didn't seem quite as cliche as many I've read. I've got a 3 day old grandson and have been helping his mum since she went into labor 4 days ago and my mind is a little fuzzy from lack of sleep.  I enjoyed your Severus extremely well. And, I've felt more kindly toward Albus Dumbledore than I have in quite a long time. You did a very good job redeeming the old coot for his careless use of his potions master.

I've been reading on my phone and haven't been able to leave a review, but I have enjoyed this story very very much. I love this version of the beginning of Severus Snape, not the ending.  How could She not see that his death was totaly un-Snape-ish?  He would never be without antivenom and Hermione would have never left him to die without trying to help him.  Well done!!!!

Now this is one extremely well-written beginning, and I like how you went about saving Severus. I can't wait to see how his survival affects the rest of those Dumbledore trusted, as well as what part he will play in the battle itself.Well done! Anytime someone finds a way to save our Severus from the odious fate JKR gave him, I can't help but smile. A big YAY for fanfiction!

Good Start.  Well Written.

I didn't start reading fanfiction until after I had read all seven books for fear of "ruining" them for myself. I came across a reference to the SS/HG pairing and was intrigued enough to look into it. I was instantly hooked. I've been meaning to go back and read the books again with a new perspective for focussing on Snape, but I can't quite bring myself to even contemplate reading the sixth book, let alone the seventh. I've become disenchanted with Lily and hate the fact that it was Severus' (unhealthy) obsession which turned Severus away from Voldemort. Also, the whole Deathly Hallows plot felt kind of stretched.

Whew! That was a lot of information. The point I'm trying to make is to thank you for your new version of events, even though I haven't had a chance to read it all. I look forward to seeing where you go with this. About how long is it? Out of curiosity.

I am intrigued!  Can't wait to see where you go from here.

I am so glad when I see someone write the final battle over.  She disappointed so many people with the way it was done.  I even thought the fight between Voldy and Harry was a let down. Looking forward to the next chapter!!

You need to fix the title- you misspelled revisited. A novel look at how Dumbledore protected Snape- I would have thought sending Fawkes might be easier.
