Hello all, I am a 53 year old from NZ. Although SSHG is how I started and still my main pairing, I'll give pretty much any pairing a try, whether it be reading or writing. Sev and Herms need a bit of variety at times. ;)
Reviews for Silent Support
Love, love, love this story! It's so gratifying to read an intelligent piece of writing that stays so close to canon, yet invents wholly believeable side stories. BRAVA! This is an excellent, excellent story, and I've read just about every hg/ss fanfic out there, lol. :)

Thanks. Maria! :D
*sigh of relief* It was very close. That man is really clever. *wink*.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Silent Support)
He is! :)
They are both so lucky to have the other on their side. Looking forward to more!

Thank you! :)
This is all so very believable. Their relationship is slowly developing in a realistic and understandable way. And you have them well in character, IMO.Great job!

This is shaping up to be a very interesting story. I can't wait to find out what's next.

Thanks, kitty! :)
More chocolate please!
Response from sunny33 (Author of Silent Support)
What flavour?
Response from quaffswinegaily (Reviewer)
chilli or ginger - sweet, but also hot and spicy! Or scorched almonds - gotta love those nuts.
Is she really going to convince him with chocolate. All she'll manage is to make him diabetic, and then he will fall into coma and won't be able to help the Wizarding World.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Silent Support)
ROFL! Hey, perhaps they should just feed Voldie chocolate? Death By Chocolate... :)
what a perfectly lovely start to the story. starting off as friends is best i think. thanks muchly

Thanks, kimjo. :)
wow! Excellent. JKR never really spared a moment to care about the torment she put this character through. LOL. It's no wonder she doesn't GET why we feel for him. We don't "like bad boys" we have compassion for people in rotten situations even if being there is at least partly their own doing.Anyway, I loved this first chapter!
Response from sunny33 (Author of Silent Support)
My thoughts exactly! :)
Response from mimmom (Reviewer)
I'm so glad I'm not the only one. I do love the Harry Potter stories, but sometimes I wonder about some of the things JKR says about the characters. Maybe she's just trying to wind us up. LOL. Nobody cares at ALL about Snape in the books, nobody. Only after he's dead does anyone get it. How could JKR not expect SOME of us to feel sad for him! Did she think people would only feel strongly about the kid characters? Did she only want kids to read her books? I like a lot of the characters, but Snape is just so tragic and readers are all so different that it just had to happen that different people would focus on different characters.Sorry, I'm ranting.
This is great. I loved the part about Snape asking if she had a crush.

Thank you for the review. :)
This is one wonderful first chapter. I like how their story is told like a fairy tale. I can see how much she helped him by just being here. Someone finally cared, and I fancy the idea that it made him chose to live instead of die when given the choice.

Excellent beginning! The gentle care and concern she showed him in the flashback spoke volumes. I'm glad they found a kindred spirit in each other during those dark times. :D
Response from sunny33 (Author of Silent Support)
Thank you. :)
Wonderful beginning, sunny. Both seem very much in character so far.I can hardly wait to see who the young bride and the older witch at the beginning turn out to be.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Silent Support)
Thanks! :)
Now this is a promising start...

Thank you, :)
Ooh, excellent! This reminds me a bit of Caeria's "Pet Project", which I really like. You've done a great job, as always, and I look forward to the rest, as always. Thanks for posting, Cat
Response from sunny33 (Author of Silent Support)
Thanks, Cat. yes, there are a few of these type of fics out there, with Hermione taking care of Snape in one way or another. I've tried to make this one different in that it is more a friendship rather than a romance for a long time. :)
Simply Wonderful!!!!I loved how you framed this story. The love and the romance was palpable! Thank you for sharing your talent!I can't wait to read more of what you have writen!

Thank you! :)
A very lovely and interesting first chapter, I like a story where Severus get support, warmth and compassion from someone who doesn't expect him to pay something in return for their attention. I am very much looking forward to read more.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Silent Support)
Thank you! The story is complete and ready to post, so instalments should be regular. :)
This is absolutely lovely. You have really managed to get Severus' inner pain, loneliness and isolation across. And I like the unique and unusual way that you have introduced the story, i.e. told through the memory of a mother on her daughter's wedding day. I'm assuming that this an older Hermione with hers and Severus' grown-up daughter, although I'm not expecting you to answer that question! I really look forward to seeing where this is going ... :-)

. No, I won't reveal who the mother and daughter are just yet. :)
