Hello all, I am a 53 year old from NZ. Although SSHG is how I started and still my main pairing, I'll give pretty much any pairing a try, whether it be reading or writing. Sev and Herms need a bit of variety at times. ;)

NOW I know why I've lost so much weight. I keep reading your stories and they kill my appetite. Honestly, do you think a house-elf actually understands such a complicated word as, "discreet?"
*retches into bin*
Author's Response: Better watch out, I'll start charging for the weight loss program. And my house-elves are very intelligent creatures! They even know what redolent means! :P
Wow, such a good chapter! Such tenderness showed for each other and the bonding. Can't wait to see how their relationship develops further!

I loved how you weaved canon information into the story. I liked the fact that Severus helped hide Hermione's parents.

I always thought that memory modification was a little advanced even for Hermione. :)
I loved the part about the foil, how nice that they can communicate!

I figured he would know about Protean charms too. :)
Great flow in the story, you really feel like a part of it.

I really liked the beginning, I wonder who is telling the story? It sounds like descendent's of some sort.

You will find out eventually! :)
I'm devastated. What he had to suffer is abominable and... *sigh* there's no words to describe it. I hope better days are ahead of them.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Silent Support)
They have a long way to go yet. :)
I have only just found this story tonight, and I am thoroughly engrossed with it and deeply impressed with you! Your writing is wonderful. You make the development of the relationship between Severus and Hermione believeable and natural. I loved the repartee between them in the earlier chapters, and my heart aches for both of them in the pain of this one. I can't wait until you update, and hope it will be soon!

Thank you. The story is complete, betaed, and tagged. I will post more in a few days. :)
That was gut-wrenching, sunny. Tender and heart-felt, but gut-wrenching all the same.Well done.

Thanks, Clay. :)
What a discouraging chapter. And yet, it is probably one more bonding moment towards a stronger friendship. What would he have done without her? Luckily, we won't have to find out... right? Nicely done.

If you use the word, "darling" one more time, I'm going to come over there and paint one of your walls black.
Author's Response: Darling, darling, darling, beloved wench, do come over. :D

Oh good, I was worried.
Author's Response: See. Chocolate is very useful. :)
Frightening some of the things he went through.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Silent Support)
Yes. I assumed failure in that mission would not be greeted kindly. :)
I'm so glad Severus has the assurance of her faith in him. Surely it should mean a great deal to him and something to hild on to to carry on his task. YOU have my loudest support.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Silent Support)
Thanks, dear! :D
I just started this today. Didn't review up until now because I just couldn't stop between chapters. This is a really nice story. The storytelling at the beginning of each chapter is a nice way of setting things up with a minimal amount of words. It must make things at least a little easier on him, knowing one person cares. That is really sad, when you think about it. Good thing she had the courage to approach him that first evening. Can't wait for more!

Awesomely horrid, she means. Gads, even your author's note at the end made me want to retch. It's gagtastic.
Author's Response: *Pets the shinies.* I'm going to tell everyone you snore... oops, did that slip out? :P
KingPhilipsWench's response: And speaking of ME, which I really enjoy, why am I not mentioned in said wretched author's note?
Look, you try driving from San Francisco to Denver with walking pneumonia and we'll see how well you do when sleeping. Wanker.
Author's Response: Shall I add, 'And thanks to KingPhilipsWench ( could you think of a longer name?) for all her encouragement and love?' :P
I could really ruin your reputation, muhahaha!
KingPhilipsWench's response: I don't HAVE a reputation. I don't think. Do I? I only have a reputation as that person that I actually am. Damn split personality.
This fic is AWESOME!!!Livvy

Thanks, livvy! :)
Wow. Beautiful. Maybe all he ever needed was just one person to really believe in him and really care. Nobody ever did. Typical tragic character and of course deep down I knew in JKR's world it would never end well for Snape. Thanks for giving him some comfort, some small bit of warmth in an otherwise horrible existence.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Silent Support)
Thanks for reviewing. :)
I am loving this thus far! I can't wait for the next chapters, this is wonderfully sweet and heartwrenching. May everything work out in the end for our lovely couple. Great job Sunny. :)

This is a wonderful story. Are you going to continue it throughout the events to come - leading us to a more satisfying ending than what Jo wrote? I like your companionship between them - as well as her instintual trust of and for him. Sara
Response from sunny33 (Author of Silent Support)
It will take the story right through until after the end of DH. Thanks for the review. :)
