I am so glad you didn't kill off Severus.  I get the impression that the woman that the story is being told to is some kind of relation.

This was terrific.  I particularly loved the way you anchored it plausibly with canon.  It was a very sweet romance, and I'm very glad it was Hermione telling the story after all.

lovely update.  enjoyed their communications and how he helped with her parents.  becuz really, even the brightest witch of her age is still only 16 or 17 and that was some extreemly advanced magic even for most adults.  thanks so much and mucho smoochies
