Quite amusing start, this story looks promising!

Some hard choises had to be made.  Short, but sweet.

How sad for him to find out that he has a family and that his wife must go back to her own time all in the matter of a single morning.  Even though he knows it will be years before they can be together, he will do all he can to insure that Hermione remains unharmed.  I can't wait to see where you take this story.  Well done!Beth

Oh, he'll evidently pine away for her. But I suppose it'll be worth it when they're reunited. It sounds like Severus knows where she is and remembers this time.

Poor Severus! I don't envy his place. Of course they'll be reunited one day and forever, but he will have to wait for so long before that can happen. As for the gift she left, well I'm not sure it will be useful but more heartbreaking. Because anytime he will see her he will desperately want her. A good obliviate would have been more appropriate.
