Matchmaker is on a bit of a hiatus. We've had two deaths amongst our closest freinds, my beta is ill, and my mom is in bad health. So it may take me a while to get back to that cheery place where I can write such nonsense. I will finish it though, unless I die, too.

Oh how interesting, Circe started out talking to Hermione about marrying her son, then to Severus about marrying Hermione. This woman doesn't play around. She has no desire of Blaize marrying Hermione, but she did keep the conversation in such a way that the point was made. Clever witch.

I am thrilled you like my tale! Circe is a true friend. She and Severus were odd friends in school; she was beautiful, rich, and popular, he was ugly, poor, and feared. But Severus always saw Circe's brain, and she liked him for that. Now she wants what is best for her old friend. (and Circe is accustomed to getting what she wants!) An interesting begining for this prompt. I like Snape and Longbottom being friends almost by default. will we get to see some of those female teachers chasing Snape?

Wow, this has so much promise! It's already quite intriguing. I don't recall ever seeing Snape and Neville friends like this, but it really works in this scenario. I hope Severus has an eye on someone for himself, too ;)

I am intrigued, I like the fact you have freed both witches for further romance, but they are going to be mad as hell. I do not envy ANY of the Wizards vying for their hands, it will probably be like putting your hand in a bee hive to extract a bit of honey. I see neither Hermione nor Ginny as shrinking violets, they may mourn their lost loves but I don’t see them pining away. However, this is your story and I am excited to see which direction you will take these characters in and look forward to the next chapter.

Intriguing prompt. When I read the names of Harry and Ron's new wives, I knew I would like this story. The boys betting was fun, but it was even more fun to see Neville and Severus, as friends, being flies on the wall.

What a fun story! I love all of the revenge ideas. Justin's lucky that he tried to get on their side in the beginning. I love your Snape--he seems so great, hope that Hermione will see that too!

These girls are good! The fact that they have been able to get George and Kreacher involved speaks for it self. The scene at the kitchen table had me in stitches. Can't wait for the next update.

Very funny, although I feel for Ginny about her decision about her gifts from Draco. It must be very hard to return all those emeralds.

The situation was inspired by the lessons I taught my own daughter, that a lady may not accept a valuable gift from a gentleman to whom she is not related by blood or marriage. (One hopeful mother-in-law-wannabe got around that by givng a valuable dinner ring to my daughter from herself, not her son. but that was returned when the children stopped dating.) It would be hard, though, to turn down a college-educations's worth of emeralds!
