Very quick thinking, Severus! Now he will have to come up with a reason for having asked her out to dinner. Perhaps, if he is lucky, the books will distract her and she will forget to ask him, "Why?"Nah..... not a chance.Love this!Beth

Nice progression of the tale. I especially like the two rejected reasons, ‘To shut you up’ did not seem like a good answer.Neither did ‘Because your dress looks like cling-film and it would peel off nicely.’ I nearly laughed in front of everyone, and I'm not suposed to eve be on the computer! *hugs* Looking forward to the next.
