Years after the fall of Voldemort, a mysterious illness throws the wizarding world into chaos. While struggling to find a cure, Hermione learns new things about old acquaintances, and Severus learns that self-preservation may not be the path he wants to travel. Harry learns the price of neglect, and Ron learns why “May you live in interesting times” is a curse and not a blessing. Draco learns… very little at all.

Hello, dear readers and fellow writers!
I read and write in the Inuyasha and Harry Potter fandoms, preferring non-canon pairing that involve bad boys of the fandoms: Sesshomaru, Snape, Draco, Lucius (mmm, Slytherins), and Hermione is the Potterverse bicycle.
Completed fics in the Potterverse:
* The Devil is in the Details (HG/SS - M for language and violence - and I'm happy to mention that it was a Featured Story at TPP for 2/08 and nominated for the SS/HG awards Round Two)
* For All Intents and Purposes (HG/SS - M for language and violence)
Completed fics for Inuyasha:
* Darkness (Kag/Sessh - NC17 for smut - won multiple awards at IY groups)
* To Shed a Little Light (Kag/Sessh - NC17 for smut- won multiple awards at IY groups)
* Quadrangle (Kag/Sessh - NC17 for smut)
* Moving Pictures (Sessh/OC - NC17 for smut)
* Don't Know What You've Got 'til it's Gone (Kag/IY - NC17 for smut - and this was my first fic ever, so be warned)
WIP:
* Cereal Box Romance (Kag/Sessh - Inuyasha - updated irregularly- won multiple awards at IY groups)
* Primal (Kag/Sessh - Inuyasha - pretty much abandoned)
Upcoming projects? Yes. I've got a one-shot HG/SS cooking that I may never finish or post, and I've started a multi-chapter HG/SS as well. I will probably write a number of the chapters before I start posting, so you probably won't see anything new for a while.

Even through his illness, Severus is very worried about Hermione, isn't he? Almost unnaturely so, if there wouldn't be any backstory between them... But I don't think it's amiss to think that there's a whole lot more going on that we have been told so far. So far, I've read the four chapters in one go, and I can't wait for another update to ravish!

This infestion on mushroom spores is really intriguing. I'm literally jumping, thinking that Ginny is infected, and nearly fainted at the effect it has on Severus. I was so hoping that he would get together with Hermione and together they would solve this! Update. I have to know if Severus lives and is Ginny infected?

Draco better let Hermione know, because she can control the Darker toned ones, and Severus is going to need her. That was quite interesting.

While reading this chapter, I have learnd a valuable lesson, to whit, do not take a sip of tea while reading said chapter. I can now appreciate as never before, and not only describe the delicious taste and effervessing vapors to perfection, but I can tell how tea truly smells. One normally enjoys the feel and delicate bouquet of Lady Grey by taking a simple taste and inhaleing the warm vapors. However, tonight I thought I would try something new. I sipped my tea as read the statement “I said ‘nose job’, not ‘blow job’ and promptly blew the tea out of my nose. While it will lift one from reverie, surely, I do not recommend it....... Not unlike Master Snape, I think.“Though perhaps you might throw in a free nose job for the good Master.” Snape emitted a strangled, gasping sound, then immediately dissolved into a fit of coughing. “I said ‘nose job’, not ‘blow job’,” Draco said with another grin and a sideways glance at Hermione.I am loving this funny, funny tale of business accumen, bigger boobs, enlarged talleywhackers, and moveable nipples. What more could a girl possible want for a little light bedtime reading?BTW, when will Severus and Hermione screw?In all seriousness, I love this comedic story and will follow it to the very end.Beth

Well, that was exciting. But Draco was pretty foolish to take those mushrooms, and now Severus is infected. (Oh no!) And his infection seems to be moving along a bit faster than others. Hurry up, Hermione, and find the cure, and don't get yourself infected.

OK, Severus hit the nail on the head with the 'unnatural evil mushroom' comment even if Draco doesn't believe him or thinks he is rambling. Now I suspect Severous and Hermione will have to work together to find the cure.Another point of interest is Ginny. I think Harry has a right to be concerned. Her usual pattern of behavior has changed. If she is infected I'm wondering if she will be violent since she was in contact with Voldermort's soul.

Oh I how awsome!! Luna Lovegood helped Harry to figured out the connection of the mushrooms and the rash! Way too cool!! I love the way she simply sees right to the heart of the matter. Mabe with her in the mix things will start to happen.Poor Severus. He's going to be drawn into this wether he wants to or not! *huge grins* this is one of my favorites of this challenge. I can't wait till you update. I really like how you write the characters.

This sure is an intriguing disease. And in combination with Hermione's Malfoy-induced business problems, one can expect volatile developments. I can't wait! Has Malfoy been behind the mushrooms too? PErhaps not, if Severus does not anticipate his involvement. We will see. We will see. Indeed, this is most intriguing.

I loved the description of the cross traffic in floo conversations! It had never occured to me, but it obviously has to happen. Very neat.

I remember a scene (though I can't remember if it was in both the book and the movie, or just the movie - but I think both) where Harry was speaking with Sirius, who had his head in the Floo network, and Umbridge stuck her hand in and was feeling around. It wasn't clear to me if she had some sort of monitoring device or if she was actually using Floo powder. Knowing Umbridge, she probably had something strange and borderline legal. ;)

I enjoyed that chapter. It was action packed. Does Severus even know he's interested enough in Hermione to get jealous? I love the idea of throwing dragon dung at Draco. It's alliterative, too! :)

Interesting developments. It took them long enough to remember the mushrooms. They were handling them almost every day, it seemed! I loved that reverse Muffliato that Hermione used. Great concept.
