Years after the fall of Voldemort, a mysterious illness throws the wizarding world into chaos. While struggling to find a cure, Hermione learns new things about old acquaintances, and Severus learns that self-preservation may not be the path he wants to travel. Harry learns the price of neglect, and Ron learns why “May you live in interesting times” is a curse and not a blessing. Draco learns… very little at all.

Hello, dear readers and fellow writers!
I read and write in the Inuyasha and Harry Potter fandoms, preferring non-canon pairing that involve bad boys of the fandoms: Sesshomaru, Snape, Draco, Lucius (mmm, Slytherins), and Hermione is the Potterverse bicycle.
Completed fics in the Potterverse:
* The Devil is in the Details (HG/SS - M for language and violence - and I'm happy to mention that it was a Featured Story at TPP for 2/08 and nominated for the SS/HG awards Round Two)
* For All Intents and Purposes (HG/SS - M for language and violence)
Completed fics for Inuyasha:
* Darkness (Kag/Sessh - NC17 for smut - won multiple awards at IY groups)
* To Shed a Little Light (Kag/Sessh - NC17 for smut- won multiple awards at IY groups)
* Quadrangle (Kag/Sessh - NC17 for smut)
* Moving Pictures (Sessh/OC - NC17 for smut)
* Don't Know What You've Got 'til it's Gone (Kag/IY - NC17 for smut - and this was my first fic ever, so be warned)
WIP:
* Cereal Box Romance (Kag/Sessh - Inuyasha - updated irregularly- won multiple awards at IY groups)
* Primal (Kag/Sessh - Inuyasha - pretty much abandoned)
Upcoming projects? Yes. I've got a one-shot HG/SS cooking that I may never finish or post, and I've started a multi-chapter HG/SS as well. I will probably write a number of the chapters before I start posting, so you probably won't see anything new for a while.

Wow. I suspected he held a candle for her, but who would have thought it had been going on so long and had filled a couple of photo albums. I think he'll still be a hard nut to crack. He's not used to getting what he wants.

Very perceptive - not only that, but he's had his reasons not to act on it. We'll see if Hermione actually is up to the challenge. Snape can be very nasty when he wants to.

Ah, so Severus is interested in her after all and he has been trying to get Draco to leave her alone. I hope he remembers their conversations and is not mortified by what has taken place when he recovers.

Severus is so sick, so out of his mind with the fever. My heart broke to see the fear and loathing he had shown toward Draco who had no clue that his Uncle was in love with the very woman he was trying to court.Thank Merlin he had the presence of mind to draw his wand before Severus could hurt him. His quick thinking saved himself and Severus... bringing Hermione to Spinner's End was the best thing he could have done.If anyone can help save Severus' life, it will be Hermione. She was obviously appalled at the damage he had done to his skin trying to remove the parasites. We can only hope that her D5 will be effective. I had to laugh at Hermione's appraisal of Severus' physique... of course, it wasn't anything she hadn't seen before... yeah, right. She can't fool me, she liked what she saw as he lay on his back... in fact, she was thinking about a reason to be able to get a look at his arse. For purely professional reasons, of course. Umm humm, we know what she's thinking, don't we girls?While I'm all about Snape, I would be remiss if I didn't say that I hope Harry is able to find Ginny soon. I have a bad feeling about what has happened to her.This was a marvelously written chapter! Very nicely done! A Thousand Points to Your House!!!Beth

Severus always gets the short end of the stick, doesn't he? And usually no one else knows about his struggle. And yes, Hermione would like a piece of Severus. Who wouldn't?Wow, I don't think I've ever earned that many points at once! :)

Hoorary, I get to be the first to review this chapter! I'm sorry for the deaths, but glad Hermione's medicine seems to work. Sadly, you are correct that it isn't easy to erradicate prejudices. Oh the photo albums are a nice addition! And Stoned Snape is wonderful. She wants to keep him stoned and take him home, how cute. I'm so happy to see another chapter of this! Thanks.

It isn't - it takes a lot of time and effort. Massive cultural shifts don't happen overnight. Hermione has bulled her way through, though, to make her clinic prosperous! I know that many people imagine her doing something altruistic, but her business - plastic surgery though it may be - is somewhat revolutionary being run by a Muggleborn and vey successful. A different sort of altruism, I suppose.Glad you liked the albums. It seemed like a Snape kind thing to do - obsess quietly in the shadows and present the rest of the world with a hard front. As a spy, I imagine that he would know how to take his pictures without his subjects being aware. I want to take Stoned!Snape home!

Interesting chapter although I found it a bit creepy the way Severus has been collecting pictures first of Lily then of Hermione.

Gads, Ron’s flat sounds ghastly! I adore how you write Luna, so spot on. Ginny’s disappearance is now really baffling. Hopefully Severus will make a full recovery. The way he attacked Draco, like he was demented, eerie, and the snakes under the skin make my own crawl.

This is so cool! Hermione has used dark magic, but she has her haz-mat suit! Poor Severus, I hope he doesn't get things under his skin! I must hurry on and read next chapter - but just had to stop and say, 'well done,' and give some stars for this!

There is just so much to like about this chapter: Hermione's magical work, Severus in the garden, and hitting Draco with dragon dung. (now WHY did he do that? hmmm? LOL), Luna providing a little extra brain power and insight.WOnderful story

Luna is so great in this. Her kooky comments are filled with wisdom. Oh, I hope her remedy works! Poor Severus, trying to cut those things out of himself. Yuck. It seems that she has means to soothe his savage beast.

Draco is so fun in this story! I like his dedication to Snape. Oh, and I think I have been in Ron's apartment, the orange carpet and green sofa are disturbingly familiar... looking forward to the next chapter!
