I have to apologize to everyone, period. Real life swallowed me whole, as I have been struggling to make a living writing original fiction over the last 8 years. It has not been easy, & has been complicated by health issues. I hope people can forgive my long silences. Trying to make enough money to live on from writing is a lot harder--waaaay harder--than it looks. (At least I didn't leave any posted fanfics unfinished.)
Anyhoo...
These stories are works of parody (& thus are allowable under US law), and are not written for profit. Just for fun. I'm not making any money off of any fanfics, nor will I ever. I'm just playing around in other writers' universes.
...I am, however, making something of a living off my own stories. (If anyone wants to play around in my universes, you may visit my website, www.jeanjohnson.net, and look up my policy on Fanfics & Fanarts. It's reasonable enough and fairly easy to follow, too...)

So clever Severus already figures out that Cindy Miller has a time-turner. I must admit all this discussion about what could or could not be changed by use of time travel hurts my brain. However, I think that's just the nature of time travel. I'm enjoying Hermione/Cindy's attempts to get Severus to change his paradigm, plus her blatant use of her womanly wiles to distract him is amusing. Love the investment in Microsoft through Gringotts!

Remember, he first meets Cindy as a fellow adult. Long before he met Hermione-the-child/student. Trust me, a different hair color and haircut will do quite a lot to change one's appearance...plus several years of being thought of as a different person...~Lotm

I am glad you have her moving and bouncing forward in time each chapter. It shows the development of the friendship, even though they haven't been able to communicate in the intervening years. I wish someone would go back a few years and tell me which companies to invest in!

I think it's perfect that she is creating a friendship with him and being so clear and concise about why she isn't pushing for romance. Severus isn't the type to be fooled by declarations of love.

Soooo... Now that Hermione has gone back in time to when she and Severus are about the same age, this allows for all sorts of possilibiltes... Will they come to know one another well? Or even very well?I am looking forward to following your story!Beth

Yay! I love Time-Turner fics... I'm so glad you are writing one. The explanation for why she is stuck in the past is perfect, and it seems to be at a different point in Severus's past than other stories have attempted.

My editor requested, and I quote (more or less, as it's hazily from memory), "...either a story that fixes the Epilogue--" (because she's an SS/HG fan, too) "--or a time-turner fic, but one that actually explores what happens after they come back to the present, and goes into the what-happens-next."...Naturally, I had to do both! (So yes, the story will eventually catch up with itself temporally, and progress from there.)~Lotm

I am so tickled to be the first one to leave a reveiw! It was a pleasure to meet you at Portus. I attended the SS/HG get together hosted by Southern Witch and yourself. So I've already had a sneak peek at a future chapter, due to the reading you gave us. This promises to be another LOTM classic. I'm already intrigued by the plot, as I'm sure Severus is intrigued by the mystery of the lovely stranger's appearance. I'm also quite sure that Hermione will be intrigued by this younger version of her Professor.

What an excellent and entertaining time-turner fic! So original and lots of unique twists. I am glad you made HG such a strong and savvy adult here. A lot of fics turn her into an unthinking sop when it comes to her relationship with SS.
So, just a random question because i didn't quite understand- when hermione is "gone" for her three years in his attic, it's she physically there, and frozen or something? The part he said about talking to her confused me, because I'd just assumed that she disappears when she's gone.

Ohh, very nice story. I hated his nose being changed, but I supposed it was necessary to the story. I love stories that give Severus a happy ending.
The last two chaps were just the right thing for my Friday evening relax-after-work-time. It was very nice to see them grow older together, you gave us just the right glances into their life. Thanks a lot again for this wonderful time-turner-fic.

Ahhh I loved it. I would have loved some more detailed chapters, but it was a wonderful story.
