I have to apologize to everyone, period. Real life swallowed me whole, as I have been struggling to make a living writing original fiction over the last 8 years. It has not been easy, & has been complicated by health issues. I hope people can forgive my long silences. Trying to make enough money to live on from writing is a lot harder--waaaay harder--than it looks. (At least I didn't leave any posted fanfics unfinished.)
Anyhoo...
These stories are works of parody (& thus are allowable under US law), and are not written for profit. Just for fun. I'm not making any money off of any fanfics, nor will I ever. I'm just playing around in other writers' universes.
...I am, however, making something of a living off my own stories. (If anyone wants to play around in my universes, you may visit my website, www.jeanjohnson.net, and look up my policy on Fanfics & Fanarts. It's reasonable enough and fairly easy to follow, too...)

Of course he didn't die! *smacks a certain author with one of her own hardbound volumes* Not to mention the thought of Ron and Hermione actually managing a successful long-term relationship--without circumstances throwing them together all the time--is utterly laughable. *SMACK SMACK SMACK* Trust me, I've been in that relationship. Lovely way to wrap it up and give Severus and Hermione a happy and satisfying life and family. This was a great way to even make your fic epilogue compliant. It's wonderful to see you write a SS/HG fic again.

I'm so glad you did not make Hermione have to forfeit her relationship with her friends in order to build a life with Severus. But his nose! Did he have to lose the nose? I guess it was a dead give away. Anything for the greater good, eh? (did I just say that? oops!)

I know, I know...I was shrieking in horror right alongside Hermione. Just think of him as going from canon!nose Snape to fanon!nose Snape, or maybe Rickman!nose Snape. (Rickman has a very nice nose, not at all long and sharp like the books describe.) Lol, I even enjoyed throwing in the little comment about a face-tuck to make himself look younger; he has her love, has had it for three and a half years, yet he's still worried that he's too old for her, heheheh...*happysigh*~Lotm

Your books and stories always make me smile, and I love the throwback to FSS with Prof. Frejne, I consistently go back and re-read your work as it is interesting to see your development as an author and this fic shows your continuing evolution, I really enjoy how tightly written and plot driven the story is. Thanks for sharing your gift with us.

This one definitely had a different feel to it, as I was writing it. More mature, more sophisticated, more dialogue-driven. This definitely wasn't a younger Hermione voicing the viewpoint of the story; this was the mature woman she was destined to become.~Lotm

This was an amazing journey. I love how you incorporated elements from the epilogue, but made them so much better than I was expecting. Kudos on another fantastic story!

<i>You make it sound like you’ll only ever have one destined bride.</i>That line made me smirked. Hah, you tell him that, Hermione!Another wonderful chappie. All that talk about time-machine and changing future made my head ache slightly. Although, I like it that she resist and refuse to jump into his arms but refer to wait until he meant it.

Aw, brilliant! A very yummy story, sweet and filling. I loved it.
I'm curious about that - "their eyes met, and for a moment... more than their eyes." I assumed they kissed but now I'm wondering if I was totally wrong on that score.It really would be hard for Hermione to inform Severus of her plans without telling him of his future. What an unbelievable mess she's gotten herself into. Can't wait to see how this all pans out.
