I LOVE to read, I LOVE to write, and am thrilled to be published here on The Petulant Poetess. I love the Harry Potter books because of my kids, and hope to get good enough to become an accredited beta reader at some point:)

I just devoured this series for the first time. I love the character of their exchanges. I'm surprised though that Hermione hasn't called him to task for continually bringing up fidelity.

She knows that it's all tied in with the way he lost Lily. In my universe, Lily was romantically involved with him, at least enough that it felt like romantic betrayal when she chose James over him, so that is where he is coming from. She knows that it's all tied in with the way he lost Lily. She looked a mess. Her hair was more unruly than usual, and her clothes were rumpled. There were purple circles under her eyes. She was gorgeous. Yay! He can see, and her beauty is the first thing he notices – not the dark circles under her eyes, not her unruly hair, not her rumpled robes – just her beautiful self. Severus is so sweet, and they love each other so much. I'm looking forward to the next set of drabbles. You convey so much with so few words!!! Well done!Beth

I surrender:) There IS more in the works, one more chapter, maybe two. And I confess, I am a complete fool for cats:) Crazy about them and always have been. My theory is that humans love cats because we see them getting away with everything we wish we could:)At the moment, I have my grandson with me, (he's 13 months old and looks EXACTLY like Charlie Brown) while his mommy works and his daddy does fire supression training for the Nat'l Guard, but give me two weeks and my time will be my own again:)Warm regards,Fizzabella

I know which one you mean, and I was NOT going to do that. He has suffered enough, and I know it would have made him difficult, and Hermione doesn't need THAT. I am so much in love..... with this entire series of drabbles. Fizzabella, you tell the sweetest tale. It makes me smile all over!!!Please give us a few more drabbles and let us know what happens when the bandages come off and Severus sees his Hermione. Pleeeaaasssseeeee...... I am rather a conservative person so I don't think this will become very erotic, though.
