I am so delighted with this. What a wonderful scenario you've devised, and the characterization of Irma, and the touching and poignant way she falls in love with "the young professor" is so beautiful. The way she contrasts herself to Hermione is so poignant, and I am trying to figure out how she can accomplish what she's trying to do w/o breaking her own heart.Well done!

You had me laughing at "He was trying to keep a low profile, and frankly, if someone could not afford to have his nose broken, it was he." I liked the way Hermione felt a tactile sensation of magic when Snape was standing behind her. Is that the magic version of the shivers? Irma in her matching nightgown and hair net! Hilarious. I think Hermione and Snape are going to combust if you don't get them naked soon SoulSister!

My kind of advice. lol.The Firewhisky in him gave him a strong urge to pull her back to him, sink both hands in those curls, and give her permission to use him. Oh, please do that. please, severus. lol. His list of questions to ask him was longer than her last Transfiguration essay. Omg. That is SOOOO effing long. You crack me up.I loved his thoughts of her hand squeezed tightly around the vodka bottle. Pervert is right! But I ADORE it. lolOMG! WHat's going to happen next!!!! I'm so excited to read more.

Loved how you said that Dumbledore and his things are premeantly twinkling... hahah. And Remy, if he had a tail, it would be wagging... that is now forever in my mind of a house-elf.

What a heart-wrenching chapter. I loved how you brought together the mothers, banishing the pure-blood bullshit.

ANd hermione's blood shot red eyes that would bleed if she cried anymore, was such an excellent description! Very well done.

So where are they going? It was kind of funny that Severus didn't return her kiss. I'm surprised Hermione didn't just make a hole in the floor and jump into it. That's probably what I would have done!

Excellent! I love how you're moving things along, with Irma's interlude in the middle. But I'm starting to feel really bad for the poor librarian. Maybe if she had gone out drinking in a seedy tavern, she would have better luck.

I'm on pins and needles wondering what is going to happen with Irma's note! I love the fits and starts of Hermione's and Severus' interactions, and I really, really like the way you've depicted Irma Pince. I can see it all in my head as I read!

This is marvelous--funny and sexy and the same time! You write them both very well, and I do love the fact that they are coming together very gradually, and in spite of themselves. Nice that that first kiss only sets the stage for what must certainly come...but not yet!Wish he could've gotten the latest "Mercury" note while still in her presence, but does this mean that they will meet tomorrow without Irma's watchful, lustful eye? Abundant in emotion and wit. The ceremony is very touching and well imaged with very caring characters. Pureblood and Muggle holding unto each other to cope with the loss of their children.Very emotional. Well done.I laughed also: '' It was difficult to care whether the Hufflepuffs could accurately brew a Hiccoughing Draught after finally defeating the Dark Lord and narrowly escaping his own death '' FUNNYOR''Remy smiled brightly and waved back before retreating behind the door again.Was no one scared of him anymore? How do I love this story? Let me count the ways:

1. Snape being apaethic post war. I can certainly understand his drifting through life.

2. Dumbledore’s house is a gingerbread cottage, if that is perfect I don’t know what is.

3. Remy waving to Snape completely cracked me up. No one is afraid of you now Mr. Badass
