Severus Snape has been exonerated for the crime of killing Albus Dumbledore, but wizarding society still shuns him. Hermione wants to help some poor soul for Christmas, as she will be spending it alone since she broke up with Ron recently, and her parents are going away for the holidays and didn't invite her along. This story was written originally in 2005 and is not DH compliant.
