My real name is Lauri, was born and raised in New Jersey, and have recently relocated to the Gulf Coast of Florida with the love of my life. I love to read, enjoy writing, and lose myself in daydreams quite often... but I earn a meager living as an environmental scientist for an environmental consulting company. HP fan fiction is an obsession of mine - I just cannot get enough, no matter how much I read or write. My favorite pairings are Hermione/Remus, Hermione/Sirius, and Hermione/Severus - in no particular order

I'm an MLIS student who loves to write as much as I love to read.  I'm also the proud "parent" of two retired racing greyhounds and a Maine Coon-mix shelter kitty.

I've been on TPP for many, many years, and it still fills me with the same unending joy. I write so many fics, but never get round to posting - that and I can't deal with the beta-ing process at all! :P

But I'm generally here forever dreaming over a Snape filled world, and hoping that one day I might find myself in Hogwarts' halls!

Hello! I am 24 years old and a recent college graduate. I have a couple one-shots posted here and on my LJ. I don't write all that often, but I read a lot. :)

sdragon19 (Sabrina, age 25) passed away suddenly on November 24, 2006 from kidney failure due to an infection.

She began posting stories in the Harry Potter fandom in the spring of 2006. The wealth of her stories may be found here and on Sycophant Hex at this link:

She was an accredited beta with Perfect Imagination. Her preferred pairings to beta were SS/HG and HP/GW, and her strengths were characterization and general flow. She was working with Southern_Witch_69 as her beta prior to her passing, and had begun two WIPs ... stories that will now never be finished. We at TPP mourn her passing, and we send our condolences to her family.

I've been writing since I was 11 or 12, so about ten years. I write anything from fantasy to sci-fi to historical fiction. I am currently a college student who aspires to become an archaeologist.

I'm a 45 year old Long Island NY woman who works with developmentally disabled adults in a day hab.  I have graduate degrees in psychology and theology.  I'm also a photographer and a writer.  I have been published in "Waxing and Waning" magazine as well as a few other literary magazines throughout my life.  I write both fan fic and original short stories.

I'm currently looking for an experienced beta/comma wrangler, as the commas seem to, have, a, life, of, their, own... see?  Contact me if you're interested in beta-ing the occasional submission.

I've been reading HP for about 15 years now and love reading HP fanfics, especially SS/HG stories. I do occasionally write my own fanfics, but I tend to be a bit nervous about actually posting them.
General info about me, I live in WA state, am originally from Alaska, and love reading in general (fantasy, history, trivia in particular).

I'm a university student who have a passion for JKR's world. English isn't my first language so I'm mostly an avid reader, although I enjoy writting too. I'd love to be a beta, but since I obviously can't, I would be equally glad to help anyone who'd like to try writting in Spanish. I also enjoy translating, so don't doubt to contact me if you want one of your fics translated!

fifty-something happy wife and college mom.

Matchmaker is on a bit of a hiatus.  We've had two deaths amongst our closest freinds, my beta is ill, and my mom is in bad health.  So it may take me a while to get back to that cheery place where I can write such nonsense.  I will finish it though, unless I die, too.

Hey-o. I'm Jessica, and I'm an avid Draco/Ginny shipper. I've finally made my way over to the Petulant Poetess in search of Snape/Hermione stories to read. Figured I might try uploading a couple of my stories while I'm at it! :D

I am Antoinette, otherwise known as Ann, not like I care which one you call me by.

I've been reading fanfiction for many years now and writing it for much less. D/G used to be my one and only love (it is still what I love the most) but I have recently encountered the need to branch out since I was running out of fics to read. I still dislike breaking up that very holy ship, however. And for the most part, I will shy away from any story that pairs Draco and Ginny with other people, especially if it is Hermione. I abhor Draco/Hermione because it doesn't make any sense to me. I cannot see the two together at all. That being said, I promise not to attack any Draco/Hermione lovers or shippers unless I am provoked. (Ever heard of: don't tickle the sleeping dragon?)

I don't know what else to tell you. The basics: Green is my favorite color because it makes my eyes pop; I sleep with my Blackberry, and my laptop is always within reach; I like salads and chocolate, just not together; I play Pokemon when I'm bored; if I am inside, I want it to rain; and I've recently embarked on a mission to read classic novels.

Twitter: twitter.com/x0memoriesfade (I do not update this much.)

Livejournal: x0xmemoriesfade.livejournal.com (I update this much less.)

Tumblr: x0memoriesfade.tumblr.com (I do post to this.)

I'm a 30-something mother of three who juggles work and full-time university with a bit of fanfiction writing for stress relief.
