What do you get when you cross an imaginative, anti-hero nut from Tasmania with a Snape-loving, closet-writer from the UK?
Advanced Smut Makers!!!!
Yes, we have joined forces across the waters to produce our very first RP-turned-fanfiction called 'Where Your Loyalities Lie'
Despite our excessive love of the Potions Master, our muses sometimes deny us the ability to produce any writing, but we have been a great motivation for each other and - who knows? - we might produce something else together in the future!

I usually write L&O: SVU fic (on fanficnet and svufic), though I've been a big fan of HP for awhile now. My favorite pairing is HG/SS, though I have been known to get pulled into well-written HG/DM.

Hi, I'm 18, I live in New York, and I adore the HG/SS ship. I've written a few stories before (mostly HG/DM) and two are up on fanfiction.net, but as I've matured my tastes have matured as well from young bad-ass slytherin to older, manlier bad-ass slytherin. Anyway, now I'm writing HG/SS, so check out my story Daughter of the Snake!

I came to the world of fan fiction, because I had a theory about Snape... and I decided I wanted to actually see it, to make it come alive. And thus was born The Secret Papers of Regulus Black.
That story has remained, in a way, a home base for me, and I have returned to it to write a sequel (currently in progress) and two prequels. The prequel I wrote first is still waiting to be edited. The other one, which happens earlier in the storyline, is Damage Control. Both of those were written early this spring.
After writing The Secret Papers of Regulus Black, I changed focus and began work on a highly self-indulgent work of plagiarism that will never see the light of day (and I do only work on it at night :) ), because despite the irresistable urge to work on it, I do respect the original author. This was my first Hermione/Snape, which naturally affected the next thing I started: the sequel to Papers, mentioned above. I got distracted at the Mugglenet forums, and wrote a challenge piece: The Labyrinth of Lost Souls. It won second place in the Gauntlet Challenge. At this point in time, it's only up there, since it was their challenge.
One of the things in the challege was a logic problem, and it sparked another idea, The Logic Problem. I also have a work in progress for the HG/SS exchange. It's not doing so well. The beginning is boring and is taking too long. I'm several chapters in, and we're still at the Weasleys'!
Finally, for NaNoWriMo, I wrote a 117,000 word work about what would happen if a Muggleborn rights group became as extreme as Voldemort's Death Eaters... only in favor of Muggle-borns instead of Purebloods. I'm currently working on editing it, after which, I will send it to my beta. All of my stories feature Snape as a main character (sometimes the only main character). I tried writing a Draco story, but it fell rather flat.
I am very interested in his (non-romantic) relationship with Dumbledore, and at some point, I will probably write something about why and how Snape joined and left the Death Eaters. It will in all likelihood feature more of Regulus Black than Lily Evans, and it will probably be connected to the Papers series.
Of course, that's not the next story I will work on. I have two stories about different possibilities for Year 7. One of them is very dark, and is set in a world where Voldemort has managed to take over the Ministry and Hogwarts. The other one supposes that Snape is supposed to still spy, and needs someone who can get Horcrux information to Harry without telling every member of the Order where Snape's true loyalties are. Both of those are Snape/Hermione stories.

Tu fui, ego eris. --What you are, I was. What I am, you will be.
“An anti-hero is a protagonist that lives by the guidance of their own moral compass, either striving to define and construe their own values as opposed to those recognized by the society in which they live, or completely rejecting conventional values and morality as irrelevant.”

I have thoroughly enjoyed writing in the Harry Potter fandom, especially for this particular pairing, for quite some time.
However, as the end of an era is upon us, I am withdrawing myself from fanfiction writing. It has nothing to do with the way the series ended -- no unhappiness whatsoever on my part for how JKR handled the series. Quite the opposite.
I am so enamored with how she has written our beloved Snape and his lifelong love of Lily Evans-Potter. I am completely convinced of the growing relationship that has persisted between Ron and Hermione.
It is out of respect for these characters, canon pairings, and the great author herself that I put down my quill, so to speak, and let them live on in my memory as the way they were intended. :)
I hope that anyone in the midst of a WIP will be forgiving and understanding of my decision, and I wish all the remaining writers/readers the best of luck.
Sincerest regards,
Unwound Fantasy

I'm a 40 something Snapeaholic. My Muggle friends think I'm nutters so I must align myself with those that appreciate his sexy, swishy robes, snarky attitude and velvet voice. *fans self* I have a definite liking for lemondrops and wool socks (really!) and am a bit mischievious at times.

I'm a Miss, no Mrs, that has always loved to write but never had the courage to do so. Reading HP Fan Fiction gave me a bit of courage to finally actually write something. So please let me know what you think so my stories can grow.
My real name is Martine. I'm a 24 year old Cultural Studies student from the Netherlands. I hope to graduate soon but at the moment all I do is read and write fanfiction.
Besides reading and writing anything that has to do with the world of HP (believe me when I say that I don't shut up about it until you have at least read the books), I also love reading other stuff. Anything from SF like Dune (classic) to the Great Tragedies of Shakespeare (even more classics). From Kama Sutra (the original Indian texts) to Western fiction on Chinese women (hopefully the subject of my final thesis).
But I also have to breath in some fresh air now and again so twice a week I get up and go out to climb. Well actually I climb inside but whenever the weather allows you can find me hanging on the rocks. To top this love for climbing of I am also be on the board of the climbing association here in Maastricht for this year. (I can't believe they tricked me into becoming the treasurer)
Other than that it is movies, music, travelling, swimming, hanging out with friends, my boyfriend or family (not necessarily in that order) that keeps me going.
That's me in a nutshell.

Writing is a socially acceptable form of schizophrenia. ~E.L. Doctorow
I first started writing as an escape from real life. It's turned into my entire life and I'm writing all the time. When I'm not writing I'm thinking of a scene. I'm easy going, but many people call me a bitch. (Simply, because I don't take crap and I can hold my own argument.) I love horses, and have been ridin' since I was little. I have a Southern accent, but it's a 'soft' accent.
I never knew a thing about fan fiction until a friend introduced it to me. I was so shocked that this kind of stuff existed, and so intrigued. I became more interested than she; in the end read it more than she. I love Severus/Hermione fics. Although, I’m an original Harry/Draco shipper. I always thought from the beginning their was something ‘just not right’ about their story. After all opposites attract. ;)
I have my stories here, Skyehawke, and Ashwinder.
If I don't update within a week send me an e-mail, it could be my health playin' up. I'll never abandon a story. That's about it.

HMS Evil Genius Shipper here!
I like to write happy endings and my own versions of fic clichés. A lot of my stuff is soap opera fodder and I like to think of it as tongue-in-cheek – but we all have different senses of humor.
Let’s see… I love challenges. If you’ve got a Lucius/Hermione plot bunny you’d like to see my take on, send it along! I might write it!
Reviews are awesome. They keep me going on multi-chapter fics and let me know how I’m doing (if characters are believable, etc.). Feedback makes my day!
Although I post to archives, everything I write is on my LiveJournal.

Lets see...I'm a 29, almost 30 year old female in a small town in Arizona. I have far too much time on my hands and my husband thinks I'm completely and totally obsessed with Harry Potter. I keep telling him that Harry doesn't hold my interest...I'm a Snape-woman through and through! Well, except for my fixation with Minerva McGonagall, but that's a little different. What you will find here mostly are only my filks, as they seem to be the only thing that gets accepted to the site.

I mostly love to read FanFiction, but will occassionally post a story of my own. Generally, I read Harry Potter FanFiction that focuses on Hermione Granger & Severus Snape (HG/SS) However, I have been known to read other stories should the mood strike me. I loathe abandoned fics, so I will only post my own stories if they are complete. If you would like to contact me, you can do so on my livejournal page.
