I'm a 40 something Snapeaholic. My Muggle friends think I'm nutters so I must align myself with those that appreciate his sexy, swishy robes, snarky attitude and velvet voice. *fans self* I have a definite liking for lemondrops and wool socks (really!) and am a bit mischievious at times.

yeah i really dont know what to put here. i am a huge number one harry potter fan and i am so bummed that the books are over so now that i have nothing new to read in the books i have discovered the beauty of fan fic! lol.

Lets see...I'm a 29, almost 30 year old female in a small town in Arizona. I have far too much time on my hands and my husband thinks I'm completely and totally obsessed with Harry Potter. I keep telling him that Harry doesn't hold my interest...I'm a Snape-woman through and through! Well, except for my fixation with Minerva McGonagall, but that's a little different. What you will find here mostly are  only my filks, as they seem to be the only thing that gets accepted to the site.

I never know what to put for these things...

I'm in my late twenties (as well as in denial about my impending thirties). I live and work in the middle of a city, and am of the firm opinion that life isn't quite as interesting anywhere else. I'm a political consultant, which can be sort of catch-all title. In my case, it means a combination of planning campaign strategies, doing the odd bit of damage control, and writing speeches and public statements. It's interesting work and I enjoy it a great deal. I also do some writing on my own, and hope someday to be a published novelist.

I've been reading fanfic since 1998, though I just started posting my own fic a year ago. My first fandom was the X-Files; my first ship, Mulder/Krycek. The list has since expanded to include Highlander, Buffy, Harry Potter, Good Omens, and many, many others. I will read almost anything provided that it is well-written and interesting. (This applies to books as well, and I'm almost always about halfway through three or four of them.)

This week, I'm listening to... The Clash -- London Calling

...and I'm reading: Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, by William L. Shirer; Lloyd Alexander's Chronicles of Prydain (I'm on The Castle of Llyr) and The Queen's Gambit, by Walter Tevis. I highly recommend all of these.

I'm an avid reader, an OK singer, and a complete computer geek. Currently favorite authors are Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb, Lori Foster, and Janet Evanovich, however I will read pretty much anything that catches my fancy. I don't read historical romances and can't stand "love your rapist" plots. I read the first 4 Harry Potter books in 3 days about 1 year before OotP came out. I was immediately taken in by the story and have read each subsequent book the day of release. I found fan fiction after publication of DH.

I wrote my first FanFic at age 7 about the Dukes of Hazzard. Let's just say I had no idea it was even called fan fiction and well; it was really, really bad. I'm not sure how much of that has changed in the past 29 or so years but I've decided to give it a shot.
