I have thoroughly enjoyed writing in the Harry Potter fandom, especially for this particular pairing, for quite some time.

However, as the end of an era is upon us, I am withdrawing myself from fanfiction writing.  It has nothing to do with the way the series ended -- no unhappiness whatsoever on my part for how JKR handled the series.  Quite the opposite.

I am so enamored with how she has written our beloved Snape and his lifelong love of Lily Evans-Potter.  I am completely convinced of the growing relationship that has persisted between Ron and Hermione.

It is out of respect for these characters, canon pairings, and the great author herself that I put down my quill, so to speak, and let them live on in my memory as the way they were intended.  :)

I hope that anyone in the midst of a WIP will be forgiving and understanding of my decision, and I wish all the remaining writers/readers the best of luck.

yeah i really dont know what to put here. i am a huge number one harry potter fan and i am so bummed that the books are over so now that i have nothing new to read in the books i have discovered the beauty of fan fic! lol.

I usually write L&O: SVU fic (on fanficnet and svufic), though I've been a big fan of HP for awhile now. My favorite pairing is HG/SS, though I have been known to get pulled into well-written HG/DM.

I came to fanfiction after the fourth Potter book came out and I was desperately searching the net for something, anything, to tidy me over until the next one came out. Fanfiction did that very nicely, and then I discovered that I could write my own, as well! Fantastic.

I never really got the whole ship thing until the sixth book came out and I was so shocked by the Harry/Ginny that I completely understood why one would prefer to write about one's favoured pairings rather than the canon one.

Um, yeah.. what else. I've been writing fanfiction since 2003 now, and Potter fanfiction since 2005. I finally made it to this archive after being told to do so by a friend, and will be posting some of my old and some of my new stories here when time allows. (That is the plan, at least.)

When time allows even more I'll write a decent bio, as well.

I have no idea what to say here, so...

Lucius Malfoy stole my brain after DH and he won't give it back.  I write everything from darkfic to crack to drama, with an occasional side order of smut.  I view odd pairings as a challenge, and in my head some form of Lucius/Severus (whether they are just good friends or something more) is fanon.  IJ is probably the best place to keep up with what I'm currently writing, should you wish to do so. 

I live somewhere in the USA, in a city that has hosted the Olympics.

I've been apart of the Harry Potter world since I was 11 years old. I'm a college student, I like to garden, write, cook, play video games, watch anime and corny jokes. My favorite characters from HP are Severus Snape, Luna Lovegood, Nymphadora Tonks, Kingsley Shacklebolt, and Fred Weasley.

Been reading fan fiction for almost a decade, starting off with Sailor Moon and eventually becoming the bitch of J K Rowling's creation.

Wrote my first story, Mr Maybe, back in 2006 - a DM/HG (my favourite ship, though I have several others that I also love). After it was finished, I didn't write another until last Thursday - 05/07/12 - (though I have continued reading ridiculous amounts of fiction). Entitled 'A Game, A Bet and A Dinner Party', it can be found on FF, AFF, Dreamwidth, LJ and InsaneJournal.
