I live in Montreal, Canada. I have been writing for 17 years, but fanfiction is an art I discovered in January 2005. I really put my heart into the work I publish here. I hope you will enjoy my writing! The experience has been exhilarating so far!

I'm an occasional writer, I don't tend to plot out my stories, I write them as I feel inspired. Most of my work ends up being Harry/Hermione, though I do have a soft spot for reading Hermione/Severus

I was born in Berlin (Germany) on the 10th of January. I'm happily married to an American. My greatest passions are writing, reading and drawing pictures. I spend a lot of time on the computer (especially in winter) because I want to know everything and the internet is the best way to sate my hunger. I became addicted to Harry Potter when reading it to my young cousins.

My computer, and my seven-year old son sit down here in sunny Florida with me.  When they or any of the three cats gives me permission to do so, I write fan-fic for things like Harry Potter, CSI and Dalziel&Pascoe!  My main 'ships are ADMM and JimBrass/Sofia (from CSI-LV).  Andy Dalziel doesn't really strike me as too shippy...*snerk*.  So there you go.

I'm a compulsive reader of fic.  Though I'm a good writer, I find composing and completing stories very difficult, which is why I'm perpetually at work on my unfinished Hermione-centric novels.  It's also why I only commit to writing one-shots to deadlines and why I've "published" only two HP fics.  I have others in development.

When it comes to HP, I'm interested in reading about Hermione with Slytherins/Death Eaters and rare characters (unless those characters are female or Pettigrew or Crabbe or Goyle or non-Snape professors).  I have little patience for SPAG violations and even less for trite plots and simplistic characterizations.  I particularly adore Lucius Malfoy, and my OT3 is HG/LM/SS.

Outside HP, my fandoms are numerous and diverse.  My non-fandom interests are the same.  At university I am training in the field of New Media with a concentration in graphic design.  I have extensive experience with studio classes in both visual and literary arts and enjoy both forms of creativity immensely.  I love to be engaged in worlds created though story, especially when the imagined world reflects my experience of reality.

I enjoy writing, and I am currently taking creative writing classes. I am learning quite a bit in my class, and my eyes have been opened to new things. I am branching out into areas that I previously would never have dared to. I have more confidence in myself as a writer, and as a person. I was a finalist in the 2009 Skyway Writers Festival.

I'm a 40-something old, happily married mother of a teenager, whose passion is reading, reading and - oh did I already mention - reading.

I live in Austria, so my native language is German (or better: a slang thereof), but since I was forced to learn English in school I reluctantly discovered my love for it.

Here at the Petulant Poetess I can combine my passions: reading, English and the Potterverse.

So far I'm mostly reading; I'm feeling comfortable enough to write the occasional one-shot, but I don't think I have skill to pen down a longer story. But who knows ...
