I'm way too old to be visiting sites like this (dare I admit to forty-something!) but my love of all things Severus Snape/Alan Rickman keep me addicted! Poor health keeps me from working and at home all day and gives me too many excuses to read/write fan fiction in an attempt to keep me sane. I have two lovely sons, and an even lovelier hubby, to try and keep me on the 'straight and narrow'. And, now, they're aided in that task by the more recent addition to our family of two beautiful black, male, kittens - Merlin and Mesmer!  (I wanted to call them both Alan Rickman-related names, so, naturally, one was very nearly 'Severus'... Unfortunately, my family drew the line at that particular wizard so I had to be a bit more subtle - hence Mesmer [as in Franz Anton for those not familiar with the AR film, 'Mesmer']; the name also happens to be short for mesmerising!) ;-) 
 
I have a few stories (and poems) posted at Occlumency, under the same pen name as here, and have gradually been expanding on my repertoire both here and there over the last two or three years.  Despite claiming to be in 'fanfic retirement' of recent times, I now find myself with newer additions on Ashwinder, Fanfiction.net and Granger Enchanted where I go by the names of Sevvy253 or Sevvysgirl/Sevvysgirl253.  However, this site retains the most complete listing of all my work to date.

Iridescent Snow is NOT abandoned, but it's on a rather long hiatus! Unfortunately, I've been stolen away from the fandom by RL in the form of medical school!

Mostly a reader, but now also a writer. My first contribution to the fandom is my recs list... not much, I know. Don't get confused by my recs. Even if it's true that I read mostly SS/HG, my heart belongs to my lovely werewolf.

I've been reading HP fanfic since 2005. Severus is my favorite character, although I enjoy stories about others that don't feature him. 
I've served as alpha and cheerleader for writers since 2010, and 2012 marks my first outing as a writer.

Started writing HP fics in 2005, did it for a looong time, got busy and stopped. I'm back to it again to blow off steam between writing my "real" books and applying for grants to continue doing thus.In my free time, I like to cook and write fiction (HP fan and otherwise). My favorite HP pairings are SS/HG, HP/DM, but I also lilke Hermione with Lupin, and I also enjoy Moody and Dung is hilarious. Not a fan of Ron, HG/Dumbledore, vampires, or Snupin. Nothing against fans of those, just personal taste.

I'm giving the fic-thing a shot, since I enjoy writing. I have no 'ship of choice, though there are some I avoid. I like humour in the stories I read, and if you put Snape at his irascible best in the mix, I cannot help but take a look.

I only have one story here, and it's turned into a whopper in terms of length. If you're after a quick and easy read, this isn't it.
