You are definitely right. The moment Severus openly admits his affection will be exceptional the way you made us all long for it in your story.

On another note - thank you for not making Hermione a complete fool in front of Severus with all the dancing. I was literary dreading he would turn up when her embarassment would be the greatest. As it was, it was very sweet, but survivable.

I like that you left it up to the imagination of the reader as to what tune Hermione chose.

I like the fact that you let the reader imagine what song she chose.  But, I did see your song, seems very fitting as well.  I think you are taking us along at the appropriate pace and tempo.Well Done.

I reached the end of this chapter and realized I was holding my breath :) You perfectly capture the tone of an anxious girl in love, and I was just thinking -- I don't think we see too many stories written in the first person. Particularly not done well. This is a great one.

I appreciate the fact that you've left out the song lyrics: one of my pet peeves in fan fiction. Unless done expertly, lyrics interupt the flow of the story, and this chapter flows quite beautifully without them.

 The story tempo thus far has also been lovely. You've hit a very nice speed. I can't wait for the next chapter.

Oh what a wonderful chapter!  By all means take all the time you need getting them there - better done well than rushed to conclusion.  And you are doing very well.  I like the bit more tension before the kiss. I look forward to it with great anticipation. :)

I really have to say that my breath catches in anticipation every time I see that there is an update of this story.  And the amazing thing is that every single time, you don't disappoint.  You have me hanging on the very edge of my seat.  Flawless.

Oh, that was lovely.  You did a nice job teasing, too.  I was expecting Severus would walk in on them right at the start, so when that didn't happen I was surprised in spite of myself when it did happen later.  And that bit of hope as he leaves ... so tantalizing.
