I can't WAIT to see how Hermione will extract her revenge on that toad-woman!!  She is soo ballsy to keep her cool in front of the entire school and (reasonably well) with Snape.  Methinks, for her, practice (and patience) makes Perfect. . .

oh, man, what a page-turner!  can't wait for the next chappie, but I suppose I must. 

Ohh I'm so glad to have a new chapter of this! I'm enjoying how distant Snape is being, yet he's also toying with her I believe.

Hmmmm what is going on in that mind of hers???  Should prove to be interesting.Great chapter.  Always ready for more!

Now that's a tantalizing note to end a chapter on. What can she be planning?

Hermione handled the press release quite well.  Snape seems to be re-evaluating her.  I wish we knew what was going on in his head.

Why do I have the sneaking suspicion that "Ginny" was not who she appeared to be when she visited Hermione in her bedroom -- that it was someone else (Snape, perhaps?) using Polyjuice Potion?  I didn't really pay attention to Ginny's somewhat strange behavior on the first read-through...but the way she cast her hair over her face (as if afraid that the real person was reverting?), the regret in her voice when she said that Snape wasn't worth Hermione's tears, and the anger over Umbridge's manipulation of Hermione all seem out of place.  Hmmmmm...

After all the intensity of the previous chapters, this one is quite calm. I'm not sure she's made a bad impression on him, though. Thanks for updating so regularly.

We're moving right along now, aren't we?  The reaction of the student body and faculty to the article could have been overblown, but you did a fabulous of keeping it understated and realistic.  Well done!  I'm also enjoying watching Snape through Hermione's eyes.  Seeing everything entirely from her POV is fascinating, if not frustrasting (in a good way), since we're as in the dark as she is about what is going on with Snape.

Oh no! Poor Hermione.

 I am very curious to see her interact with Snape. I guess I wasn't expecting such a cold reaction. I knew nothing could change since their positions and all, but we know he likes her and he know she likes him, so can we just lock them in a room for awhile until they figure it out?

Excellent chapter. I loved Hermione's testimony. I am relieved Severus was found not guilty.

This story just gets better and better.  The tension between Snape and Hermione is almost tangible.  Something has to give! :)

I wouldn't blame Hermione for locking the door to her room and staying in there for a very long time. Can't wait to read what all the reactions will be. Great job!

I love your story ! I feel so bad for are girl  i have been sitting around trying to think of a way to help her. No I have no life yes i just sit around trying to help people who don't exist. Yes i am pathetic    It is your story I know but what if  the quibbler ran a  front page telling  all the supposed crushes at hogwart's and made a totale mockery of the prophet for running such tripe  and all the students could laugh at who they are supposed to be in love with and all would blow over  luna was going to send her dad a message when she left  Hermione .Not trying to be a nusance .But you made me  feel so sorry for her .

OMG, that Umbridge cow! I was horrified.  The end of this chapter is definitely evil cliffie territory.  I look forward to reading more.
