Wow!!  Soooo good!

This is so wonderful. There's a sense of honesty about it, that makes it all possible. And thank you for drawing it out. Hermione's vulnerbilities and his hesitance is very important I think, so that they are more equal in some ways and it doesn't have that odd, sometimes creepy, out of school and into professor's bed that stories set around 7th year and graduation can have. I am really enjoying what you're crafting here.

I knew there had to be more behind her scholarship than just the submittal.  Painful shyness seems to hide behind his fierce facade.  I'm glad he showed up at the party and that Harry was not rude to him.  A really good chapter.

I love this story! And I love your choice for the song! I drum, and I learned to play "Stars" a few years ago, it's a great song :). Looking forward to the next chapter with much anticipation....

I really like how you surprise us. You could have picked up on the last chapter and given us what we easily imagined, but instead you went about it your own way...Given the long wait for this chapter I was really hoping that there were two chapters, oh well, but at least the 2nd one is in queue. Yet another fabulous chapter!  We're definitely getting to "the pivotal moment," aren't we?  That first kiss is definitely going to be worth the wait. 

Excellent job of showing us what Severus is thinking.  It's so subtle, yet so perfect - befitting of the feel of this story.

This story is absolutely amazing, I read it through from start to this chapter and I know I must have a ridiculous grin on my face, but it's just so wonderfully done!  I'm so glad I put off study for a bit to read this story, keep up the marvelous work!

The sexual tension in this story is epic. I love it!

Great evil cliffie, again. The spectacle of Minerva as fairy godmother was very endearing, and it was nice to see some of the old friends gathered together at the ball. But please don't keep us in suspense much longer about what happens when Hermione crosses that room.

Was it necessary to stop the chapter right there?

Cliffhanger! I hope he accepts. Update soon because I need to know what happens!

Nice job of staying away from the cliche completely, but still having Hermione to be well-put together for the dance. The next chapter just cannot come soon enough with this chapter's buildup. 

*Cringe* What will happen now?  Will she ask him?  Would he accept?  The next chapter should be a good one.Looking forward to the next installement... Cheers!

Aaaah, an update! I feel like my reviews are getting repetitious and inane, but if they keep you happy ... I really love your detail work on Hermione's hair and dress, and I love how in a categorically Hermione fashion she forgot the makeup. But I'm sure Snape likes it better that way anyhow. He'd  better dance with her, the great prat! Awaiting the next update on tenterhooks, per the usual.
