Hello all, I am a 53 year old from NZ. Although SSHG is how I started and still my main pairing, I'll give pretty much any pairing a try, whether it be reading or writing. Sev and Herms need a bit of variety at times. ;)

I like this Marriage Law fic a lot. It seems more believable than most of the other Marriage Law fics I have read. I am looking forward to future chapters.

Hermione is very ... uhm ... bold in your story. I wonder why Severus backed down regarding his provisos; or was he the one leading her on?Anyhow, a very entertaining story.

Yes, she is, bold and bossy. I figured she has camped out in the woods for months, run afoul of snakes, Death Eaters' Bellatrix Lestrange, and goblins. She is pissed off with the Ministry and feels guilty about the position Snape is in because of her work. So she is not going to let a little thing like his hang-ups regarding sex stop her saving him! He was trying to make things easier, but realised it wasn't worth the argument. Like Ron said, she's brilliant, but scary!Thanks for the review!

i love the overall story, but i hate to say hermione is coming off as an annoying little snot. please, please, please do not let severus continue to be a doormat. although there is good potential after he has married her . . .

Outrageous Hermione is just what Severus needs to liven up his life. Oh, are Millicent and Trelawney in for a rude awakening. I shudder to see how Umbridge will take it. LOL, too funny, I loved it. I can't wait to see what happens next. Well done!

She's onloy got a few weeks to get him used to the idea of having sex with a student. If she displayed any nervousness, he might chicken out!

Yes! He said yes! And boy is he in for the ride of his life? Shagging like bunnies? Is she really such a horn dog? Wow. I can't believe she touched him! In front of McGonagall, thank goodness she didn't notice. Please update soon. I want to see what she thinks of his living quarters! And the wedding of course! Great story.

She isn't so much a horn dog, but now she has had a taste, she is not scared of sex. She is teasing him because he is being such a prude about it all. Thanks for the review!

I applaud your "solution" to the irrational part of the marriage law's insistance on people getting married Right Away. the youth factor. okay. However, magic has proven to be a resilient gene, yes? what would the actual problem be (in terms of magical population) if it was all girls? remember, seamus finnegan's mam married a muggle. magical society wouldn't die out, it would simply suffer a demographic change. which in and of itself is not bad. god I hate the ministry in these marriage law fics. I do love seeing how people work with the premise, and your ideas are really interesting, I just hate the stupid ministry.

You have a valid point. But then, Hermione wouldn't have to marry Sev, and where would the fun be in that? :P And what's NOT to hate about the Ministry?

eh. my parents both work for the government, so i have fellow feeling. and really, I can't quite believe that such intelligent people can be so stupid. and plus, beaurocracy doesn't work that fast! if the way the gov is set up involves a minister of magic, several other ministers, and the wizengamot, surely there are some checks and balances??

You are absolutely correct of course. The way governments usually work, it would take ten years or so to act on such information, and only after a few select committees, and a referendum or three. LOL

I have to say that I am totally enjoying this unconventional story. I didn't expect to like it, but you have drawn me in. Great job! I find myself longing for more chapters, if only to see what Hermione will do next! Or will Severus grow a pair and start ordering her around? Or at least trying to?
