I am just a fan who likes to tell stories.I don't pretend to be an author and I may not even be very good at it, but I enjoy it. It gives me a break from real life.
Reviews for Agoraphobia
Okay...Heavy stuff. I have very strong suspicions as to the identity of Mr. "I" and his "other toy". Let's hope he is found before he manages to kill "the other one".

Wow. Ok somehow I missed this review last week. Thank you.

O_o --> That's my expression right now. I just feel so sorry for them and I hope they get vengeance/justice in the end. The torture Hermione and he have had to endure is devastating! I can't remember if you've mentioned this but... what's Ron up to? *looks at author suspiciously* Hmm. The POV of the anonymous person has to be someone who wouldn't have been apprehended as a DE after the war, so they must move around in society quite freely if he's suggesting to be the one to 'save her'. Somehow, I can't see Lucius Malfoy fitting the criteria. There's mystery upon mystery here... I love it!

Ron is around, though I don't expect him to make an appearance. He was at the hospital when the brought Hermione in. I have a feeling he got over Hermione and moved on with his life.

A brilliant update. I am horrified of all the suffering Hermione has gone through, and if I read the end of the chapter correctly, so has Severus. There aint a hell bad enough for this person who is behind it all. I would/could easily guess Lucius Malfoy, but then again, you made it easy to think it was Severus too, so I won't be surprised if you once again surprices us all. Just please let the bad guy suffer? No easy death without having to pay for his crimes? I don't mind if the guy dies, I just want him to feel some pain and suffering first. I want him to know that the public knows what a scumbag he is, I wan't him to loose it all, and know that he has lost it all, before he dies.

We will learn more about what Severus went through in the next two chapters. Then the identity of our bad guy. The bad guys always pay :) Thank for R & R

Oh, so Severus is also a victim. Now, who might be the villain? Not Voldemort, seemingly. Lucius? Hm. I guess you might have though about someone unexpected, someone we normally consider positive. Lupin?
Response from silverdoe (Author of Agoraphobia)
I considered several possibilties. But I have decided to use the one that works best with the story and will create a few more surprises. Thanks for reading and reviewing :)

So Severus is as much a victim as Hermione, yet he's at risk of taking the blame. Oh dear.

Yeppers. Thanks for reviewing.

Oh, no! Just when you give us the information that begins to answer our questions, you let them put a stupid young Auror on duty who thinks the villain is just a Muggle!
Okay, I'm totally caught up in this story and am eager for the next chapter!

Thanks.

This is a fascinatingly dark story. I'm glad that Minerva and Harry are seeing the clues and connecting the dots easily. The situation and clues are very clear so I think it's pretty easy for them to do.
I'm eager to find what happens next!

Wow! you had me going there! Almost to the point of yelling "How could you do that to Snape/Severus?" But when I read the end of this chapter it was clearer - it is another, Truly an Evil character. Oh how horrible! And now 'of course' Harry will think the worst of Snape - Again. I await the next chapter/s which will be rather like watching a broom crash - Horrible to watch, painful for the participants but strangely compelling.Cheers.

So, the last POV has me thinking that Severus has been used, as well. Interesting twist.
Response from silverdoe (Author of Agoraphobia)
Yes, he has. Thanks for reading and reviewing.

I have the strong feeling that it's Lucius, too.

Judas Priest! It's Lucius Malfoy and he has Snape under his control as well. Nice frame up. They're going to think this is all Snape's doing. Am I right? Or do I have to wait for the answer? This was a very sad and disturbing chapter. Poor Hermione.Livvy

I could tell you but why ruin the surprise. Thank you for R & R

The mystery is fascinating and I'll be waiting for more. Snape is seeming like the bad guy here but I'm keeping my faith in him until proven guilty. I can see many scenarios how he is actually protecting Hermione after someone else's attack but it's sad that he doesn't feel there's anyone on the side of the light to help out. But I guess they will be now.
Response from silverdoe (Author of Agoraphobia)
Thanks:)
This is all very interesting and original. I just can't imagine a background that would make Snape positive here. The consequences are too dire, primarily on Hermione's life and mind. I hope you have a very very good explanation. I'm afraid the moment it proves impossible to justify his actions (which should be now, as a matter of fact, but I'm a hopeful idiot), I'll abandon the story. No use for evil Snape. JKR did what she could about it. I read fanfiction to find a better Snape.
Response from silverdoe (Author of Agoraphobia)
I do hope that I don't disappoint. I promise there is a good explanation and many more surprises. Thank you for reading.
Wow, I just found this story, and I am very intrigued! GReat work!!gab

Now that the characters have all the facts the same than we, readers, all is missing is: who did this? Severus? someone else? Or is Peri Severus's child, the result of a true romance that was destroyed by someone evil, jealous or whatever who took Hermione as a hostage after putting Severus out of the picture? Hem, looks like a lot of scenarii are showing up in my head.
Response from silverdoe (Author of Agoraphobia)
All those senarios must give you a head ache. I could tell you the answers, but that would be no fun. Thanks for R & R.
Perdita's comment last chapter gives me hope, "... His eyes looked so sad. Like your eyes did earlier outside of Eeylops Owl Emporium.” Would a dark, wrecking-ball type Severus stand quietly, sadly, watching from the shadows? I don’t think so! But then, I’ve always had faith in the inherent goodness of Severus!
Write on, and I shall read it!
Response from silverdoe (Author of Agoraphobia)
Thank you. I am glad to see someone picked up on that.
I get the feeling Snape is going to be the father of Peri... I usually don't read these types of stories, but I like yours. Update soon!
Response from silverdoe (Author of Agoraphobia)
What type of story would you consider this? I'm just curious. Thank you for Reading and Reviewing.
Response from amenaruin (Reviewer)
Stories with the author's own characters where there's something amiss like the situation. I like AU (what isn't AU these days?), but there are just certain things in fics that I don't read them for. I can't really describe what I mean, I just have to pick the things out when I read them. It's nothing specific. But I really do like yours. I think it'll get me to read more where the author takes more liberties and such; it was only two or three of these that got me to stop reading them, but that was a while ago, so maybe it isn't really fair for me to dismiss them anymore.
OMG.At first, for some reason, I thought Perdita was Snape & LILY'S kid (why, I have no idea, because the math doesn't add up, but there you go, it's 5 am!).Now? ZOMG!?!? *flail*
Response from silverdoe (Author of Agoraphobia)
LOL. One should not think that early in the morning. Thanks for reading.
Very clever with the use of Shakespeare. Very scary with what has happened to her!
Response from silverdoe (Author of Agoraphobia)
The use was very unintentional, but it worked so well. I couldn't resist using the reference. More scary to come. Thanks for reading and reviewing.
First of all, thank you for the update!Seccond, oh my, what an update! The abuse of her captor is so much more extensive than I first thougth with her being pregnant with her seccond child (assuming that there ain't any more children hidden out there?). I am glad that they so soon found out about Perditas true parentage, hopefully that knowlegde will give them a clue as to who have done this to Hermione. I admit that I don't want Severus to be the bad guy, but there is an awfully lot of clues going in that direction. The obliviates etc could easily have been done by him, but would he have been able to erase the Ministry's files? I wouldn't have minded if Ron was the bad guy, but he ain't smart enough, or resoursful enough to put this through I guess. Besides, Perdita don't have red hair:-) Then again, Perdita could be Severus child, and Hermiones relationship with Severus gave someone motivation to do this as an revenge towards Hermione. I guess I just have to wait and let the story unfold, one thing is for sure; you have me hooked, I can't wait to read the next update!!!!
Response from silverdoe (Author of Agoraphobia)
Wow. So many theories. I can't tell you of course whether or not they are correct, but I thank you for your comments.
I find this story is very uncomfortable to read... but it's so damn good! Just the thought that Snape could have done this to her - the implied rapes, the mental abuse - is enough to make me want to vomit. It takes a lot to shake me up, but something about the unspoken brutality Hermione's had to endure really scares the crap out of me...
I'm begging you not to let it be Snape, but all the evidence is pointing to him. Unless it's some major WTF twist like Wormtail *barf* Ok, I think I reached my brain fart quota for the day. *is praying like hell it's not Snape and definitely not Wormtail*
As for Perdita, I've read 'A Winter's Tale,' so I made the connection with Hermione early on, based on that, but it is a very fitting name given the context.
I eagerly await the next installment!
Response from silverdoe (Author of Agoraphobia)
Thank you. I knew that this story would make people uncomfortable, so I am happy that while it does this, people are enjoying it.
Oh, how sad... I am glad they found Hermione though.
It is extremely scary to see what some people are capable of because of misguided love.
Response from silverdoe (Author of Agoraphobia)
And it isn't always love, but obsession. Thank for the review.
Uh oh - this seems to be quite the dark thing... Does anyone really wonder who might hold poor Hermione hostage?
Response from silverdoe (Author of Agoraphobia)
Do you have a guess? Thank you for R & R :)
