Who was Marlene McKinnon? An Auror, a member of the Order of the Phoenix, a powerful witch who was killed by Voldemort himself, along with her entire family. But before she was an Auror, before she joined the Order of the Phoenix, before she was married and had a child of her own, she was Lily Marlene McGonagall.

What a sweet girl, Marlene is. I'm so glad Fawkes visits and I'm surprised about Albus' dream - or was it something more. To wake up and go to the very room, right at the scene he had been haveing in his dream? I hope he snaps out of his 'spell' soon.
Response from diana_hawthorne (Author of Lily Marlene)
Yes, Albus's dream was something more - a vision, I guess I would call it. And don't worry, he'll be snapping out of his 'spell' soon!Thank you for your review, my dear!

Aw Fawkes that is just too sweet. Even Albus didn't think about sending Fawkes to keep an eye on Minevra and Marlene. I want a bird just like that. I don't like Alastor, Colleen and least of all Kendra. Evil people who should let people live the life they choose. Oh man, more please I'm really getting into this story.
Marlene is a very bright little girl. Minevra will never truly stop loving Albus. I hope she tells Marlene about him also. Does Marlene ask about her father?
I understand where both are coming from but as a woman, Albus is SO wrong. lol
I don't care what Alastor has done for the war. He is horrible, it's like he knows no other way to be. Ok who opened their big mouths? They should be locked up. If she didn't faint right away I would be surprised, him showing up that fast. Oh my.
Oh boy, I wonder if she will tell Albus. You don't have to answer that. Poppy has always been a little noisy. Its amazing the baby made it through that fight.
I always thought Albus and Minevra should have been together. Thank goodness someone came along when they did or she might not have made it. Its awesome the story you have came up with that fits so well with the books facts. Nicely done.
Poor Minevra. To lose your whole family, must be awful. I can't wait to see where this is going.
That prick, Moody, and Dumbledore's family, too. I wonder what he'll do or say when he finds out!

Response from diana_hawthorne (Author of Lily Marlene)
She definitely is!

At least Albus had a good excuse. That makes me feel better (about Albus). Moody, on the other hand, has some explaining to do!
Response from diana_hawthorne (Author of Lily Marlene)
Yes, Albus does have a good excuse - but Moody has his own agenda in this story...Thank you for reviewing!

Now why did Moody not at least say something?
Response from diana_hawthorne (Author of Lily Marlene)
Moody didn't say anything because he has his own agenda, which will be revealed in chapter 6.Thanks for the review!

Alastor, what a prick. And who is this woman Dumbledore married?! Where the heck's he been?
curiouser and curiouser. Thanks for another chapter, although you haven't answered many questions,(such as why didn't Albus look for her after the war, or after she returned?)
And you have raised one or two more, (Like why did he marry so quickly if he was in love with Minerva. of course, maybe that was just a pre-battle fling?).
Give us answers!
Response from diana_hawthorne (Author of Lily Marlene)
Glad that you're enjoying the story - I know that I haven't really answered many questions yet, but the next chapter will answer some of them.
I wish that Alastor, or whoever else, hadn't told the Prophet. I really don't like the Prophet! Dark magic, indeed. they don't know her at all, do they?
Response from diana_hawthorne (Author of Lily Marlene)
Nope, they really don't know her! Thanks for your review!
Wow...what a blow! I feel bad for her. I look forward to updates.
Response from diana_hawthorne (Author of Lily Marlene)
Thanks for the review, dear!
Well, at least that put her fears to rest. As soon as Albus knew, he came to see her and thier daughter. This is making me wonder.... A red headed girl named Lily who is to be killed with her husband nad son in her own house by Voldemort....
Response from diana_hawthorne (Author of Lily Marlene)
Yes, there are meant to be parallels with the Potters, though the McKinnons were killed during the first war. Glad you noticed that! Thanks for the review!
Oh, too bad Minerva didn't hex the sock off Alastor! Would serve him right! and leave it for the Daily Prophet to get it all wrong! Dark Magic indeed! Question her integrity? You've got to be kidding! I'm glad she kept the baby. Look forward to more...
Response from diana_hawthorne (Author of Lily Marlene)
Are you sure that the Daily Prophet just reported the facts incorrectly? Remember that the article's author's name was withheld...And that's all I'll say on that subject!Thank you for your review!
now that is an interesting development!
Response from diana_hawthorne (Author of Lily Marlene)
Yes, it is, isn't it? LOL.Thanks for your review!
I am so glad Albus came immediately after finding out. If he had known sooner he probably would have come. I am enjoying this thoroughly. keep the updates coming!
