Reviews for Travel, Conspiracy, and Men
Great first chapter! I'm interested in finding out who Ron's little tart is and how she was able to get Hermione shipped off to Arizona! Glad the second chapter is in queue already!
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Thank you! Ron's little tart will make an appearance as the story unfolds. :)
Well my interest is definately sparked with this opening. There are enough questions to keep me interested -- Who is the woman Ron is seeing? What does she have to do with Hermione being offered the job exchange? How did Lucius become a widower? Will all the action take place in Arizona or will they head back to England? and most importantly -- Where has Severus been for twenty years and when is he going to show up here? I look forward to your next installment. Thanks, JoAnne
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Thanks
Oh who's he dating? Nah...I don't care...love it love it love it...
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Good question...Thanks for your highly encouraging review! I appreciate that!
I'm already suspicious to who wrote this, but I'll keep mum until I'm sure. LOL at the rattlesnake operation, and I wonder why Hermione is in Arizona -- and why is Lucius concerned? (and yay! Prompt challenge has begun!)
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Everything will unfold. Eventually. LOL.Thank you for reviewing.
It doesn't surprise me that Ronnikins has some on the side. It would more surprise me if he didn't. LOL "Call me bitch," I am the exact same way about my married name. That is my monster-in-law not me. OMG. If you don't want him, please send this way. PLEASE. NO, say it isn't Draco. Please say it's Pansy or Luna or hell even Dobby. Just not Draco. Oh man, I can't wait to see where this is going. Tamara
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Teehee. Nope it's not Draco. :))Thanks for reviewing!
Love it, can't wait for the update.Excellent cliffie !
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Thank you! I'm glad you like cliffies. Some readers don't, and for that I'm glad it's an anonymous challenge, LOL.
Good beginning, I'll be back to see what else happens!!
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Thank you! Lots more to come. :)
Call me Granger, call me Hermione, hell, call me bitch. Do. Not. Call. Me. Mrs. Weasley! That has got to be my favourite line so far! Lovely start, I'm very intrigued to find out who Ron has been playing away with now...
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
*giggles* I can totally imagine Hermione saying that! Thanks for a lovely review.
Very interesting. A concerned Lucius is a bit disturbing, but this could go anywhere, so I'm looking forward to see where you take it. :-)
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Thank you! I find Lucius always a bit disturbing, but alas, he has a way with women.
Oh my, I live in Mesa in the shadow of the Superstition Mountains. How nice to have Hermione and Snape (I hope) in town for a visit. :)
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Hee, who knows where Snape is... :))Thanks for your review. And I corrected my Superstitious error now.
ooohh. can't wait for vacation!snape! yeah, i can sympathize with hermione's rude awakening regarding the arizona desert. when i read "warm weather for part of the year" i snorted. and i remember vividly the first time i saw a rattlesnake lying across my path - just a little nervous-making. i'm really looking forward to reading more of your story. *bookmarks* and finding out what's on lucius's mind. by the way, fyi, i do believe the city in arizona is 'tempe', not 'tempeh'.
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
My mind clearly was on Japanese fermented tofu rather than on the desert, oops. LOL, I corrected it now, thanks for pointing it out! And thank you for leaving such a lovely review. Rattlers can be a bit scary, can't they...
ooooh a mystery. I like it so far, although I've got a sneaking suspician Ron is banging Narcissa. Of course, i could be totally off the mark and he could be banging Draco. *insert evil giggle*
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Erm, Ron can't unless he's into necromancy :))Thanks for your review!
Response from coonassblondie (Reviewer)
Ewwwww *shudders* That's definitely not a kink of mine, lol! So much for my theories, hehe.
Oh, this could prove to be quite interesting. Bookmarking this one and will wait patiently for the next chapter! :D

Ohh, evil cliffy. Great start though, can't wait for more :)
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Next chapter is ready to hit the queue, so won't be a long wait. Thank you for your review! There will be more evil cliffies.
You have got me intrigued. Looking forward to more!
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
That is what a fanfic author loves to hear! Thank you!
Interesting. The thought of Lucius in Arizona is entertaining. Looking forward to more!
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Thank you! He has the means to travel, so why not.
Great start
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Thanks, I'm glad you think so.
Interesting. Lucius being concerned is a bit scary.
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Thank you! It looks like he's become mellower with age.
I have really enjoyed this story. Not usually my type (with 3 together) but I was pleasantly surprised by this one.
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
So glad you liked it!Thank you for reviewing!
Thank you for such an imaginative, thought provoking story.
Just one thing - when reading I couldn't quite figure out from the "waking up for the sixth time" if that part was six years in the future or if they had just spent the day snoozing and indulging... By the end it looks like six years in the future based on Hugo's apprenticeship (love that idea).
You created such a joyful life for them all, yay!!!
It's not often that you find a fanfic with this much originiality. I would have liked to hear more about the 20 controlling families, though, and how the wizarding world and the residents of utopia found out about them and monitored them. I also would have liked to have heard more about the residents of utopia. The one concern I have is that sometimes, Lucius' (and to a lesser extent, Severus') speech seemed common and sloppy; not the aristocratic snobbery we've grown to expect from him. If this was a product of their conversion from the Dark Eaters, I missed that being explained.
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
Thank you for your thorough review! There was a stage when I thought this fic would become an epic. In the end, I decided against giving more background because I didn't think it was needed. Those who understand where I'm coming from will find the answers easily with google, and those who don't are generally not interested enough in more exploration.Utopia was meant to be this fantastic place that either people don't know exists (those on surface earth) or are in such awe (those in the inner earth) because it is, essentially, filled with highly evolved spiritual beings. I imagine it as a place where communication is entirely telepathic and where the only sound is that of the universe. It would be extremely hard to use language to convey, at least for me. ;)I'm not sure I understand with the last paragraph. Yes, I guess both men occasionally spoke in a sloppy manner; I'd hoped it would be seen as them being somewhat flippant, and plainly, men. I really appreciate you sharing your thoughts, thank you again!
*DAMN*! (I really did gasp out loud . . . )
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
*grins*That was the goal. ;)Thanks for reviewing!
Well she's not properly "skiving off" if she can't really get any work done anyway, now is she? ;)
Response from karelia (Author of Travel, Conspiracy, and Men)
You're right!Thanks for reviewing! :)
