Ah, what a tangled web we weave. Now the things she will witness will be horrible indeed. But will she lose faith in him? Of course not! How could he think such a thing? He doesn't know her like he thinks he does.But Dumbledore has really gone around the bend to ask this of a student, even one as mature as Hermione.Great story. Well written. Such angst. I am thoroughtly enjoying it.

I haven't squealed so loudly in a long time as when I saw that you updated! YAY! I also became terribly depressed because I got the bookmark email when I was at the tail end of my lunch break at work. WHY!?! This story seriously just keeps getting better and better. I love this. I love the dialogue - it really feels like them, it's what I can picture them saying. I know you said this a doom fic... and I know it's a doom fic - there's no getting around any of the doom involved... but I have hope for Severus/Hermione. I mean, I do. It's just a matter of time before I laugh hysterically because something wonderful happened and then the next minute bawl my eyes out because the doom caught up to them.I am always looking out for updates on this story and am impatiently waiting for the next update (although, I will be good and wait like a good girl, I just won't like it. LOL.).

Aaaaw, thank you so much. Oh, the WIP-of-doom comment related mostly to the fact that I knew what I was getting myself into when I decided to write this long, angst-ridden,canon-compliant fic instead of short and fluffy and, and, and... ;))However, you are right, the doom in the plot is unavoidable and it is coming, unfortunately. Believe me, there are parts that hurt to write, but it's the only way to get to the wonderful ;)))Thank you so muc, for your review, your support and your enthusiam :)) ~Sel.

The connection between them is tenuous but growing. I like the long, slow, realistic build-up. :)

And so the plot deepens...This is honestly one of my favorite fanfics, and I'm dismayed that you've not received more reviews... but perhaps the other readers have the same issue I do: I don't often have time to get on the laptop to read fanfics, and most of my reading is done on my iPhone in the car/public transport/the few minutes I have in waiting rooms of doc offices, etc... and, unfortunately, the TPP site's coding will not allow me to review from my iPhone... anyway, point being, I made a special trip to my dusty laptop just to leave you a review so that you know you have very loyal readers out here that *love* your work, even if we don't always have the means to leave a note to tell you so. I *can't wait* until the next update!!!!
