*sigh of relief* There were some scary moments in this chapter, but in the end, I found myself with tears pricking my eyes.
I love the wonderfully Subversa-ish way that you shed light on the clues only to reveal more questions!
Well, that is certainly a steamy brainfull of information. Intriguing.
I almost asked myself how I could have missed this, but the answer would be my phobia for WiPs and busyness with life in general. I so glad I decided to hunt up one of your fics for a reread and came upon this one--complete!
A heartbreakingly beautiful chapter. Thank you for taking me on another emotional rollercoaster with so many lovely upswings. I can't wait for the next chapter.
I really liked how you had Snape see a therapist. Some times I just can't image how they would get over some of the things that happen in the book. He was kind of a dick, but really attempting to change his life rather than it "magically" happening really made me love this story.
Wow, going to see a therapist, he must really love his Parker!
The cottage looks fab, both the piccy and the way you describe it.
Looking forward to how you wrap this all up.
*hugs* as always
As usual a wonderful story from you. I love the whole of the veritaserum conversation, but when Severus says, ‘I’ll take you to my bed when I can keep you, Parker—not before.’ it is just guh! I can't wait to see how this is resolved. Thank you for the story and the link to the cottage pictures.
I love this - think my favourite line has to be 'What is it that you're apologising for, Severus?' - ha, excellent, not letting him get away with just saying the words but making him admit exactly what it is he did. Brilliant.
Wonderful. I do hope Snape is right and Hermione will break her promise to Neville. It would be an injustice to both of them if she married him.
I'm glad that Severus's reasoning for leaving Hermione had to do with himself rather than Hermione. Also, it's good that he tried to fix himself so that he feels worthy of Hermione. I wonder whether Hermione's decision to not drop Neville has to do with her uncertainty of her relationship with Severus or whether she just doesn't want to hurt Neville. I definitely hope Abby appears in the next chapter, so that if Hermione does decide to stop the wedding, at least Neville won't be alone.
If she marries Neville I'll never get over the frustration! She could have had him there and then! gah! Saying that, I think I'd promise anything to have him. I'm hooked, I love the way you write ss/hg and how they interact together. Please update! =)
OUuuuuu picture spam! You really outdid yourself on Michele's birthday present. This is a beautiful chapter. I love how Severus told his heart. How Hermione made him work for her forgiveness, and of course my favorite line "‘Words, Snape—words are easy."
I'm glad Hermione got her truths from him... but I worry that she might still cause some drama when it comes time to tell Neville she can't marry him.
Well, that was some explanation, but I can see her holding on to wanting to marry Neville. He just can't compare, though.
Oh Subversa....I know you will make everything right but please don't keep us waiting. I love this story
I want you more now than I want my next breath. How deliciously romantic! Now Neville simply must leave her at the altar (sorry, the anvil!) and run off to find Abby, not knowing that Hermione won't be showing up, either. The guests have all had a good time, and so everyone goes home happy! But what are the two extra bedrooms for? Adopted children from the orphaned ranks of those he's cured?Looking forward to the happy ending in those beautiful misty mountains!
Well, Severus is starting to get back into her good books. Hmmm. I think he still needs to beg a little harder. Snerk, but I'm an evil taskmistress when it comes to feeling for the dumped-upon (Hermione) and the probably soon to be dumped-upon (Neville). Yeah, he is in love with someone else, but Snape really has behaved like a stalker.Fascinating new chapter, however. I just had to share my two Knuts' worth. Apologies. Not feeling kindly towards your Snape in this story.
That was fluffy pinkness at its best, but just soooooooo wonderful! I can't wait for the next chapter. Great job!gab
I really like the raw power of Severus.Well done.
this chapter has left me fairly speechless. not only did he apologize profusely, but he went to therapy! how can she possibly resist his entreaties?! oh well, i trust that all of his planning and working on neville will pay off in the next chapter. : )
oh wonderful chapter! finally some answers :)
God's nightgown! I'll take him back! He went to therapy for goodness sake! Neville doesn't even love her! Ah, well. Hermione is a stubborn thing, but it makes the story interesting!Livvy
