The uninvited ones in life are seldom wanted, usually disregarded, yet frequently, we encounter angels, as well as demons, unaware. One man's angel is another man's demon. Which will it be for Severus Snape?

Reviews for The Uninvited
Ok, I was going to go to bed, but I saw this was the last chapter and just had to read it, and I'm glad I did, it was beautiful. I'm going to have lovely dreams now. Thank you so much!
The girl has some tenacity. I'm curious to find out what exactly the other Snape is, but it is very late and I need my beauty sleep. Excellent fic so far. Thanks!
Evil cliffy!
LOL!!! I think Sev is in terrible peril and fully expect him to be rescued by Lancelot any minute!
This approach to legillimency reminds me of an episode of Buffy when she has gone into shock and Willow goes into her mind and rationalises with Buffy at various ages to bring her back.Very well written and engaging.
From the memories so far it seems that Severus feels he's unworthy. But unworthy of what, exactly? Being alive? That still doesn't answer the question as to why there are two Snapes in his mind. I am quite curious as to what comes next.
Well Severus is taking her on a roller coaster ride. I started laughing at the last part when she called him on a memory and told him it was a damn movie -funny
Oh man the memory of the fight between Tobais and Eileen and Severus in the corner was so sad - the poor little guy had no chance at normal from the beginning. I am curious who both of the Severus's are in his head and why the snarky Severus would not expect help - probably years of training to do it alone - so very sad
Interesting first chapter - what is causing Severus's visions of things - is something really there that others cannot see and what will they do for him?
This is wonderful so far! I am off to the next chapter, but I love her interaction with the shade of four-year-old Severus.
I really loved the reference to Monty Python. And I am enjoying this story very much, as usual. Looking forward to the next chapter!
I'm really getting into this fic. I love that he was playing with her and showed her things he thought would repulse her. How little Severus knows Hermione, she would always see past the physical to know how he was truely feeling. Teeny tiny plee from one of your biggest fans, please keep writing "the love you take" I need my fix.
I loved the fantasy scene, way to funny!
Very interesting, I liked how Hermione comunicated with the memory from a four year old's perspective.
Very original start.
Was that the tower of virgins from Monty Python's 'Holy Grail'? ("Spank me next!!") HA!
the image of 16-year-old severus weeping in the forest was heartrending. i liked where she told him he did the right thing and that's all he can do. i am exceedingly curious as to what she will see (and when) that will somehow make a difference and enable her to really reach him. and of course, wondering how (and when) the assassin will come into play again. guess i will just have to wait and see! you are certainly concocting a fascinating story, as always.
ROFL! I'd queue up in that line for SURE!
LOL! I don't know the movie, but can't wait to find out! This was way too sad and funny all at the same time. His attempts to shock her are being thwarted again and again. I LOVE it!Livvy
A new story! I'd 'squee' if it wasn't unbecoming.Thank you, please update soon.
I am quite curious as to why Severus wants Hermione to leave his mind. Was the other Severus actually trying to harm her? Or was the real Severus just split into two different parts, one of him good and the other nasty? I quite look forward to discovering more about what happened to Severus.
Okay I cannot take it I missed finding this one on the exchange now I am going in search....I must know!
You have no idea how much enjoyment I got from reading this. It shows the incredible portential for the rest of this story, but being written by you it would have anyway.
Little Severus was gorgeous and your depiction of him perfect. I hope each chapter unfolds like this one so we can witness different areas of Severus' life.
One teeny-tiny gripe: please don't stop writing - The Love you Take, my personal addiction at the moment.
Oh, I just love the way she interacts with his memory! I wish someone really had been there to soothe his fears. Just lovely.
This story is very interesting so far. Hopefully, there will be more of it, as well as another chapter of The Love You Take, very soon.
