What a perfect ending! Truly beautiful.
I liked it! It was a very satisfying ending to a very interesting story. Thanks for your work!
I was expecting a romantic ending, but this fit much better. The nice thing is the reader can add to the ending in their own imaination.
i loved this chapter so much, 5 stars isn't enough. just beautiful. his anxiety and uncertainty when he wakes up and she's not there, and wondering if it was a dream, only nothing in his life had prepared him to be able to imagine that kind of tenderness. and then when they are finally together. the kind of mystical link between them because of the 'vita donum' kind of reminded me of the enchantment - that whole idea of a sort of transcendent bond between them. just gorgeous.
Oh, Hermione, if you do have to go back in, which I suspect you might, do be careful.
I liked the latest chapter - A Hermione that is brave and has a lot of spunk makes a good character. I cannot wait to see when Severus comes out of his coma.
Well, I'm glad that Hemrione has so much confidence in Severus's ability to conquer the evil inside of him. Hopefully she's correct in her theory, or at least that she'll be able to go back inside his mind and pull him out later. It would not have been good if Severus hadn't received his Order of Merlin, because then he might not htink he had a reason to live . . . and he might be angry at Hermione for lying to him.
I love Hermione's confidence, and the glimpse you give into the grieving Weasley family. I can only imagine how upset Mrs. Weasley would be feeling.
well, so we know hermione is okay, but what about severus? another excellent installment, and i'm again on tenterhooks awaiting the next.
WOW! This story has me on pins and needles, good job to both of you!
Drats I wanted him to wake up! Ok, he agreed so I'm sure you will put me out of my misery. Good chapter, but what a cliffie.
Oi. You had me scared there for a moment too. But I'm afraid the good Snape managed only to battle Hermione free and most certainly not release the other one. Somehow I think we will see more of his inner mind in chapters to come. Hopefully. It was interesting, and there are so many questions left unanswered.
Oh, evil cliffie! I love how sneaky Hermione was, and the way you have given her control in his mind. Wonderful!
Which Severus will win? Or will neither? Hopefully Hermione is able to leave Severus's mind and that Severus wakes up in Saint Mungos. It would be quite disappointing if Severus kills himself.
Oh, wow, that was amazingly powerful. I really liked that chapter.
Great story! I'm looking forward to finding out where you're going to take this. The premise is really original and refreshing.
I am hanging from a lot of cliffs right now but this one is definitely one of my newest favorites. Thank you for this marvelous tale, and please, please, PLEASE hurry and update.
The concept of Hermione mucking about in Snape's mind, finding various aspects of his personality is very interesting and well done. Thank you for this excellent tale.
Incredible chapter - the two Severus fighting seemly to the death - Hermione in danger of dying while linked to Severus's mind - what a cliffhanger - I am so dying for the next chapter.
wow. very intense. it was fascinating to see your version of these events from his perspective in these memories, to really feel what he went through with everything. and to see his humanity as hermione saw it. i was crying when he talked about lily, and then in the scene after dumbledore's death, i was like "but what about the death eaters in the other room?! what if they hear?! oh that's right, it's just a memory." i think that's some kind of testament to your storytelling abilities. but what a place to end this chapter! i'll try to wait patiently for the next. *nibbles a fingernail anxiously* and i almost forgot - updates to two subversa stories in one week! yipppeeeeeee!!!!!
This is such an interesting story. A fascinating twist on the usual 'healing Severus' story. I'm looking forward to reading more.
Oh wow.........what a place to stop.
Beautiful...the play between characters is just wonderful.

Thank you, Ella - I really felt this piece as I wrote it.
Very interesting perspective. I have enjoyed both chapters so far and am looking forward to your next installment. Thanks for sharing, JoAnne
That was almost hard to read...as abuse (whether child or adult) is unforgivable. But I know, the background is always part of your wonderful stories. Breathlessly awaiting Chapter 3 [I will try and remember that I started reviewing this story on this website]
