The the bad guys really are twisted--to be consumed by a companion, eww. However, on a positive note, dying together does bring about a bond of sorts. This event, if they survive, should have a lasting effect on the future. I was wondering if one of them or by combining their wandless magic they could conjure a Patronus to go for help. I am guessing that there are some grains of for lack of a better word sand from the star glass in Severus's pocket. If so, do they wish for freedom for them all or will it only affect those in contact with the sand?
