Great story. I'm really looking forward to seeing where it is going!

Great start to a whirlwind story...except didn't I remember her parents being alive and kicking in the first chapter?Also...I'm a bit confused at Severus' reasons for leaving Hermione...will you be expanding on it?  My gut's telling me there has to be more than just their continual bickering...

Em... didnt you just have Hermione's mum shouting with her Uncle in the first chapter? Now she's dead along with her dad? 'Hermione crept to the top of the stairs and peered through the banister rail and into the lounge below. She could see her mother, father, grandmother, and from the outspoken voice shouting, she assumed her uncle was in there also.' Great story inprogress though :D cant wait to read more

I'm not sure she'll be that easy to get back, even if she still wants him. There's been a breach of trust on Severus's part. Won't Hermione always wonder if he's not going to leave her again?

Were her parents dead or not?  I thought they were going to throw her out if she was pregnant? 

I have to tell you I snorted my soda when I read Severus was caught looking at Hermione's arse too funny.

Nice chapter, never mind about the parents, just say she told everyone else they were dead to keep Voldie away from them and was visiting them in a safe place away from the wizarding world in chap 1 LOL 

still trying to work out why they just can't talk about it, hmm a little Muggle counselling wouldn't go amiss LOL

Oopsie!  Hermione's parents were alive (and kicking) in the first chapter.  Easliy fixed though, she could claim to be thinking about Fred or Remus & Tonks.   The blessed war dead. Otherwise, good job!

I'm liking your story, especially the angstiness of it. Something to note though - in Chapter One, Hermione left her house after listening to her mother, father, and uncle arguing about her heart break. In this chapter she says that her parents died during the war. Was chapter one supposed to have taken place before the war? I didn't see anything to suggest that but maybe you thought the reader should assume it? If so then it's obviously just something I didn't pick up on, but if not, it's a bit of a fluidity issue that you may want to address. I'll be looking forward to seeing the next chapter and Severus' plan to win her back. :)

I always find it hard to believe that two people as brilliant as they are could be so stupid some times. I hope they, or more exactly, HE will come to his senses soon.

This is how most people feel when their hearts have been ripped from their chests by the one they love most.  I enjoyed this story.

Interesting and well written.  I look forward to more.  Thanks for writing thisI can't imagine a mother saying that about her daughter.  Especially since they know she & Severus were living together.  Getting pregnant is not more sinful than forniacating, right?   But then, I can't imagin parents doing a lot of the things I read about in the paper.happy new year.

Is this your first story ever? It is really good. It touches a cord in me, in that I think those of us who have suffered a really horrible rejection can empathize with. It is a little painful to read. Poor Hermione. But, that painfulness is good in that it shows your writing is successful in making us feel her pain. Good job.Cheers, Kat

I've enjoyed your story and am hoping for a happy ending. I do know people who keep changing the plan and it drives me nuts, too, so I have some sympathy for Severus' frustration. Perhaps it takes something drastic to make a change in relationship patterns. But poor Hermione, dealing with her (mostly) unsympathetic family! Please feed the happy ending junkie (that's me!) her happy ending and give your characters some happiness, too. Please? Thanks for your work!
