Wow. What an awesome chapter. First, Severus was so spot on character it was almost painful, and then his whispered words after making love... and then sneaking into the DoM! Wonderful, wonderful chapter, and I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for the next one!

I have read several of the adoption challange stories out there, but this one is by far the best. I like very much how you made this into more of a story than just Hermione's surrogacy. I am looking forward to reading more!

ROFL! Oh, you're too funny! Erm... the money was spent keeping themselves out of the same situation that Hermione found herself in. And well, she and Ron had a nasty---very nasty break-up, so even though Ginny would've let her stay there and help, Hermione really didn't want to be around Ron.

Beautiful writing as always and I am really enjoying the change in the relationship it is a slowy unhurried change and it's a lovely read. The way you have developed the characters has made them three demensional and belivable and I have enjoyed it grately. Thank you

I think the McGongall story was done with grace and I thank you for that. Severus has an ickling of hope that Hermione could feel more. Yippee. And those gifts they are from Severus right? You messing with my head here. Jeesh I can't belive the way you have played this story it is a slow haunting melody that is keeping me hooked while I wait for it to get a faster pace. I wonder how the loss of McGonagall will effect Snape. It seems he placed a lot of time and effort into helping her and in the end complied with her wishes. It must effect him greatly. I am not sure if this will play a role in your story but it gives unspoken depth to his character. I hope Hermione sees this when her mind clears.

You are right, Severus really did put a lot of time and effort in helping Minerva and her death does effect him deeply. It is important.

This chapter was very funny. I'm happy to read it here. I love this challenge and your answer fits it perfectly. Maybe Severus could hire Hermione (well, it could be a good option but I hope that by the end of the story they will fall deeply in love and that will not be problem anymore;)
