When next he wakes up, Hermione is there. Her bushy mass of hair covers her face and he can tell she is sleeping, sitting there in the chair next to his bed. He studies her sleepily, and can’t even muster any anger when he realizes he must be her new pet cause – like the house elves with SPEW.

Mother of three, working out of the house in the field of public relations. I have a very understanding husband and lots of quirks, which probably make me more irritiating than interesting. I used to write lots of fanfiction, but have fallen away from it the past little while, mostly due to personal issues (although some fandom issues surfaced as well). Snape/Hermione is still my 'ship of choice, and that won't change despite what Rowling presents in the last book.

I agree with you. It was cruel to give Snape such a tragic life with no chance for happiness. I am glad there is no "book 8" where his death is rubbed in our noses so that we cannot imagine scenarios like the one you write. Thanks for painting him a brighter future.

Severus should have seen that Ron just finished pushing Hermione right into his arms. Patience is all that is required. Well written story.
I like this Hermione; she doesn't overact, justs waits until things straighten out then goes for her man. And Harry is doing what should have been in the book; improving Slytherin and Hogwarts both. Great story.
Poor Ron doesn't get that he's right but holding on too tight. I love this story.

aha! I found you here at this site - left a review on the Ashwinder site just there.... at least you have kept me somewhat fixed with these two 'extra' chapters....but not quite sated am afriad to say. Please, post more soon. This is a great story with a different writing style, which I find quite refreshing and easy to read....even though I can still picture and feel what is going on with the characters and the situations. I love it!
