When next he wakes up, Hermione is there. Her bushy mass of hair covers her face and he can tell she is sleeping, sitting there in the chair next to his bed. He studies her sleepily, and can’t even muster any anger when he realizes he must be her new pet cause – like the house elves with SPEW.

Mother of three, working out of the house in the field of public relations. I have a very understanding husband and lots of quirks, which probably make me more irritiating than interesting. I used to write lots of fanfiction, but have fallen away from it the past little while, mostly due to personal issues (although some fandom issues surfaced as well). Snape/Hermione is still my 'ship of choice, and that won't change despite what Rowling presents in the last book.

*sigh* Perfect.
Yea! A kiss! I really thought you were going to make us wait longer for that.
I'm glad that Harry's finally growing up, and choosing the right side of the fights realizing that he can stay friends with both parties even if they fight. Also, that Harry and Severus are finally talking about Lily. It's good for Harry, but I think it'll be thereputic for Severus as well.
Looking forward to the next.
Oh, tha twas sweet, and so good of Harry, too. I really enjoyed it.
Welcome back.
I've been missing your stories.
Another wonderful story written by you.
Waiting for more.

Just... awwww.
One thing I like about the drabble format is how it allows the writer to fine-tune the overall mood from paragraph to paragraph. So (to me, anyway) Harry's conversation with Snape is part of a gradual sense of acceptance and peace that is the perfect run-up to the final scene. Don't know if I'm making sense here but anyway, love the chapter.
light-handed and beautiful
It's always a pleasure when I check my mail box and see that there's an update to one of my favourite stories. And yours is definetely one. Now for the chapter I would say : YES finally. It was time she let him know how she feels about him. And thanks to Harry who seems to have matured enough NOT to come to a romantic walk around the lake with these two.
Maybe things will sort themselves out after all. I love the late Eva Cassidy's work. Especially her version of Sting's Fields of Gold, have you heard it?
Just beautiful.
*does a happy little dance*
I'm so glad she asked him that, yay! And go Harry - I do like to see a non-stupid Harry sometimes.
how could you leave us THERE! The cruelty of it all...
This is the first time I've reviewed, but I would like to say that I've enjoyed reading this.
what an emotional roller coaster this chapter was! i may have said this before, but it's remarkable how much story you can cram into so few words. and such emotional impact! the ups! the downs! and the saddest down of all - the spark of hope dying in severus's chest. i trust that you will give it reason to rekindle before too long.
Ridiculously good chapter.
I love these drabbles, they have such a beautiful, sad, wistful tone to them. Thank you for getting Ron out of the picture...now if Severus could only see clearly!
Oh, very nice. I really like how you depict Snape, not really out of character and still making it possible for him to like Hermione. I think you did a great job of using the insight DH gives us into Snape. Can't wait for more :D
Nooooooo. I want them together. For ever. You can't let poor Snape in that horrible state of loneliness. He deserves so much more. Pleeeeaaaase.
Ron is an idiot and needs his bottom paddling. Severus is totally oblivious to Hermiones feelings, who is a little insecure that they might be reciprocated. Gosh all this angst is killing me!
Loving it!

Ooops should have put
might not be reciprocated
Very sad, although it does seem like the light's slowly dawning somewhere there on the horizon. (I hope.) And thank you for the song-lyric endings, they're always a bit thought-provoking!
Hermione's actions show her love for Severus. Why did she say that to him after Ron left? Was she just embarrassed? Now Severus is going to feel so sad and rejected.
Ron's being an idiot... nothing new there then! ;-)
Poor Severus. I have a feeling he misinterpreted Hermione's embarrassed reaction - if only Hermione knew her affection might not be all that unwelcome to him.
ARGH!!!! Evil cliffhanger! I hope this is the last we'll see of Won-Won... grrr...
Dang it! Hermione just had to get all embarrassed and insecure in that last one! Now Severus might make her wait until she makes the first move before admitting his feelings! Grr! Stupid Ron. I blame the rest of the delay, however long you make it, entirely on him.
Love this drabble series! Hope to see more soon.
I am enjoying these, but Severus is really insecure, isn't he? And Ron, boy, that boy deserves a smack down.
These drabbles are brilliant. It was nice to have some optimism at the end.
