Please, please, please let Hermione welcome him this time.  I can't believe the complexity of your Snape.  I absolutely love him! 

Love the fact that NT is with KS.  And it was so cool the way SS was at first happy that HG was miserable, and than actually concerned for her. Bet he never thought he'd have that much compassion. Well, I am on pins and needles hoping everything somehow works out for our fav couple, but I certainly am not assuming things will work out for them. Great job!

YESS! I'm glad that Tonks can be so understanding and compassionate - just like the canon Tonks. My favorite part of this chapter was how the realization of Hermione's pain hit Severus so viscerally. It's convincing and perfect and very real. Thank you so much, and I can't wait until the next chapter!

Dear Minerva, ever the feminist you are! How perceptive of Nymphadora! Just because a relationship is primarily based on sex does not mean you do not learn how to read the other person. I really like how you have allowed Tonks offer him some release and hope, if those are the proper words, just as he did for her several sections back.Not only that, you have allowed us readers to see the slipping of his mask and a side of him other than the intelligent, predatory sex god.  Here we see vulnerability and uncertainty on several levels.Now that he is giving chase again, the question remains whether or not she is ready.  Oh who am I kidding, I have so many more but will bide my time a little longer.Excellent and revealing chapter!

She is miserable with him – thank Merlin! Said joy is immediately tempered by another realization. Hermione, beautiful, intelligent Hermione, has been miserable for months.

 I love this.  That he experiences both of these responses, and the order in which he does so.  I also love Tonks' insightfulness.  Not sure going after her is necessarily the best idea - it could kind of go either way.

Now I can't wait to see how Severus handles this. It could go very well or it could go horribly wrong. She's breathing in the fresh air of freedom so she probably won't want some man getting in her space just now. She'll also realize that what happened has really hurt her remaining best friend... [regardless of the fact that she was coerced,] that'll twist in her guts a bit. Good reason not to get closer to your friends! Severus should tread carefully!

Thanks for another lovely chapter. I'm so glad that you've kept Tonks a sypathetic character. And Severus realizing that he should have been paying more attention to Hermione's state of mind makes me like him even more.

I enjoy every glimpse we have of Minerva in this story, but my favorite in this chapter is Tonks. Rock on!

Severus didn't see Hermione's misery because she's been content in his presence, I think, and he hasn't seen her in Ron's presence in a year. Tonks is perceptive ... but is going after Hermione so soon such a good idea? Severus was a catalyst for Hermione's doubts and unhappiness, but is he any part of the cause for her breakup? (I know.  I'm splitting hairs; I know.)

You have me at the edge of my seat, yanno!

Another great chapter with Severus seeming a bit torn between being happy that Hermione has been miserable for months, or being sad for her.

Another update really, really soon please. I think us readers are going insane with the waiting!

Oh, another cliffie! Bummer, hmm I'm sure Severus will have quite a few things to say to Hermione when he catches her.

I needs it, I does...I really like how Tonks was able to read Severus, and his realization that Hermione had been miserable for MONTHS with Ron and then Severus's reaction to it was all very well played out.Very eager for more, minus the cliffies.

YAY!!! They're going to be together!!!! Actually, probably not in the next chapter, it's never that easy, but soon! DrunkFeminist Minerva was a very nice touch, and I'm glad Tonks set him straight on some things at the end. Looking forward to more!

Well I am glad he is going after her, but I don't expect a sensible gal like hermione to jump right back into a relationship. I guess we will see soon, I hope.

Ah yes - now we see the change in him.  He's happy she's been miserable with Ron, but at the same time that knowledge hurts him.  Somehow, I'm not sure he would have felt the same at the beginning of the story.  He truly does care for her.  

I loved the conversation with Minerva, especially the line that caused her to laugh.  *tee-hee*

I'm glad Severus took the high road and didn't eavesdrop.  I hope Hermione can be nice to Snape, it can be hard to turn off your emotions from one experience to the next.  Brilliant as always.  Snape almost seems human. lol.

Oh good grief !   What a a cliffy !    Great chap. In my mind Minerva is exactly like that.  Glad to see I'm not alone in my thinking. 

I think that Severus didn't notice Hermione's uneasiness because she's happy while she's with him. Tonks is very perceptive. I bet she knew they were in love even before Severus and Hermione acknowledged it to themselves.Now, you need to post the next chapter soon, because right now, it is an evil cliffie

I can't seem to get enough of this story. I can't believe Tonks reads Sev so well, but they did date for a long time. Can't wait to see what happens.
