I just love the way you write Snape's POV. Not in the least bit sappy or OOC. Lovely chapter (though I think you mistyped 'signifier' instead of 'signified' for the object in Snape's language dialogue. It doesn't really detract from the chapter in any way, but little things like that always bother me when I write, so I thought I'd let you know). Anyway, very much looking forward to more!

I love this chapter.  What patience he has.  What passion.  It has been a year since the incident and he has continued to present her with intellectual enticements and inviting body language.  What has she been doing with her personal relationship with Ron?  Not that I care about Ron--actually he is one of the characters I love to hate.  However, there must be some pulling away.

Very enjoyable, I can't wait until Severus makes his move!  Sorry for the delay for some reason I've been caught in a 'loop' and my updates led to blank pages.  The Headmistress has been wonderful, hopefully it is solved.  See you next chapter!

Their?scientific discussions are very genuine. Your background shows nicely in them and it is very satisfying to see a real, working discussion between a Potion Master and his former Know-It-All. Moreover, Snape's decision to bewitch her mind in order to ensnare her senses is so very Snape. I love it to the core...

Well, Professors Granger and Snape are certainly making progress on um, various fronts. (The bit of business with the rope was amazingly effective!) So I'll ask (and probably be the hundredth person to do so): How's that engagement going? Has she fended off ten attempts to do a bridal gown fitting, or what?

I try really hard to avoid WIPS...because if they are good I crave updates like a drug.  And this is good.  I kept seeing the update notices on the hg_ssdigest, and I finally had to give in.  It's a  wonderfully well-written story and I find myself completely caught up in the 'verse that you have created.  I will bravely endeavor not to bug you for updates...but I won't make any promises.

Who is reeling who in now? Much like me, you seem to have both Severus and Hermione caught hook, line and sinker.

Clearly, Hermione's so attracted to Snape that I'm astonished that she remembers having a fiancé. I like how you raise the tension between Snape and Hermione with each chapter.
