Reviews for Sex Therapy in the Dungeons
But... where's Hedwig? I'm sorry, missis, but no HP fanfic is complete without that tenacious little snowy owl. I demand more avian content and I demand it NOW! too-wit too-woo!
Response from BloodyBrilliantRuthie (Author of Sex Therapy in the Dungeons)
Only for you, dearie! I had no idea you were an avaian lover! My gosh, just when you think you know a person... I actually posted a challenge for a heavily centered Hedwig story and other familiars who all stumble across couples in compromising positions! Want to take it on? I'll send you the link---if I can find it. ~Ruthie
OMG! What a great start!
Response from BloodyBrilliantRuthie (Author of Sex Therapy in the Dungeons)
Hi, and thanks for the Weasley twin laughs.
as to the order he did it--alphabetical... right?
<3 the story!!!
Response from BloodyBrilliantRuthie (Author of Sex Therapy in the Dungeons)
YESYESYESYES! You got it! It's as simple as being in alphabetical order! Thanks for playing on the Charm is Right! ~Ruthie

Oh, PLEASE don't have her seek out Remus!? I love happy endings and am horrible with suspense so the mere thought is torture. Anyway, I'm enjoying your story.? Thanks for your work!
Response from BloodyBrilliantRuthie (Author of Sex Therapy in the Dungeons)
Hi ! Well... well... well... I just can't say! Though please keep reading, I fairly certain you will be happy with the ending. But I do LOVE the idea of a Remus and Severus sandwich! Ahhhh ! ~Ruthie

I can't give too much away, just know that it will be interesting and... stimulating! ~Ruthie
Hillarious chapter! You really should have added a disclaimer at the beginning of this one to not read at work. It was very difficult to stifle my laughter at my desk!
Response from BloodyBrilliantRuthie (Author of Sex Therapy in the Dungeons)
Thank you, Jessajohns! I'm so thrilled you enjoyed this chapter! There will be drama and angst to come, so enjoy the humor while you can! Thanks for letting me know that you enjoyed it! I LOVE your disclaimer comment! ~Ruthie
I like getting the other side of things in this chapter. Poor Snape is so smug.... snicker... unsuspecting sod! lol
Response from BloodyBrilliantRuthie (Author of Sex Therapy in the Dungeons)
I absolutely LOVED writing this chapter! As I was writing the previous chapter (same scene) from Hermione's pov, I knew what was going on in Snapes head and I couldn't wait to show him in all of his arrogance! Thanks! ~Ruthie
It's so interesting, The two person feeling with big difference when go through the same things. It seems when God create human beings, it had already made difference between men and women.
The two person are the intelligence equality ,it's just like play chess, when and who checkmateing first is still in the air.
Good job and nice chapter!
Response from BloodyBrilliantRuthie (Author of Sex Therapy in the Dungeons)
Apolun, I couldn't have said that better myself! It IS like playing chess with these two! Thank you so much for that anaology and of course, for following and reviewing! ~Ruthie
I like his sneaky little story about having a friend with ED, too humiliated to admit that it's he. I also find it very plausible that she would figure it out. When he let Remus' name "slip," and she just stared at him, I was afraid she was going to say that she knew better because she'd just shagged him the night before or something. LOL Gah...The only thing that makes me furrow my brow some is that she seems angry that he lied and is now plotting revenge. I don't think what he's done is so bad. The poor sod's just embarassed and doesn't want her to think on him too badly. Interested to see how this plays out. Gonna read the next chapter shortly. :)
Response from BloodyBrilliantRuthie (Author of Sex Therapy in the Dungeons)
Hermione is upset because she wanted to shag him and instead of him being truthful, he lies to cover up his condition. One of the things that I've noticed in my own life (thankfully not with this problem) is that how I react as a therapist is vastly different than how I react in all other areas of my life. Yes, I am a therapist, but I'm also a woman, a mom, a wife, a daughter, etc. In this case, Hermione's love life is mixed with her work life and it's just too much to handle and work it all out properly. At least that's how I see it! Thanks for following this fic! ~Ruthie
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Reviewer)
I can see why she'd feel hurt that he hadn't trusted her, but he doesn't really know her all that well, aside from her being an old student and coming onto him in the staff room. It's a manly thing I suppose. I don't think he meant any harm to her, just wanted to get himself good so he could please her. Hopefully, she'll get a handle on things and be able to sort herself out. He should realize that she's bound by rules to keep his confidence and not tell anyone about his condition. I guess he'll see that soon enough. I don't know any sex therapists. Sounds like it's fascinating work though. I'll bet you hear some crazy shit. :)
Response from BloodyBrilliantRuthie (Author of Sex Therapy in the Dungeons)
Holy Shit, SW!! I am NOT a Sex Therapist, I'm a Family Therapist! I don't think I could do that well. I'd probably be picturing the patient naked, or something. Anyway, you are a couple of chapters ahead of yourself! I forgot exactly what chapter it is but Hermione does indeed have to face what she is doing with her code of ethics. It's coming!~Dr. Ruth (though much younger and vastly more beautiful)
why the egg? wats with it? i don't get it. am i missing something?
Response from BloodyBrilliantRuthie (Author of Sex Therapy in the Dungeons)
Hi Togspled! I'm sorry you didn't get the egg thing! Don't worry, it really is no big deal. If you noticed, the previous chapter was from Hermione's perspective and she noticed Snape oggling at her breasts. She thought it was because he lusted after her. But in the same scene, with Severus' perspective (this chapter) we see that he was only starring at her bosom because there was something there, not because he was lusting after her breasts. Some folks get this and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Others just don't care for it. It's okay. The story continues regardless of the attention or lack thereof to the egg. Thanks for giving me an opportunity to answer your question! ~Ruthie
Response from togspled (Reviewer)
i see. thanks. i was so puzzled!
My friend hahaha. I love how she figures it out. Wonderful!
Response from BloodyBrilliantRuthie (Author of Sex Therapy in the Dungeons)
LOL! I think it's hysterical that he uses the "I have a friend" routine! You don't have to be a Ph.D. to figure this guy out. LOL! Thank you for reviewing again. I truly appreciate your feedback! ~Ruthie
I would think that Minerva would be shocked at Hermione's behavior, and I like that she mentions it 'must be the alcohol'! Poor Snape. I felt sorry for him, but I did find his excuse to be a good one. :) At least she didn't carry on after that. Some women wouldn't care. The whole masturbating with his hand out of the blue like that was a bit scary. She seems so desparate. I can't think of the right word. Well, looking forward to the next, I think. LOL Did I read that right, that she used to shag both Harry and Ron?
Response from BloodyBrilliantRuthie (Author of Sex Therapy in the Dungeons)
Hermione lost her virginity to "Ron's fumbling" and shagged Harry to get it right! Yum! In terms of Hermione's behavior, I'd like to think that she's a liberated young witch who is sexually confident. But as you'll see, she does have her faults, major ones, and in the end this whole story is about her quest for independence and sexual freedom, than it is about Severus' dysfunction.~Ruthie
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Reviewer)
I would definitely be with Harry. *nods* Yeah, she does seem a bit wild. Kind of like those young girls who get so sheltered at home that when they finally break away, they go nuts--partying, drinking, sexing, etc.Did I mention that I would shag Harry? LOL (when he gets old enough, mind)
Ahahhaha. I'm sorry. I don't mean to laugh here, but Snape sounds like a gangster in a rap song here when he says:I just need the right bitch to fuck.Teehee.I don't know that I like this Hermione. She's a bit lewd for my tastes, but I guess it's the alcohol that's making her speak like that. Where's Tonks? Is she not around to help Remus out with all that stimulation he's feeling? Just curious. I'm not sure about the pairings and might have missed.
Response from BloodyBrilliantRuthie (Author of Sex Therapy in the Dungeons)
LOL! Sorry about Gangsta Snape! ROFL! That's hysterical! Warty told me they curse too much. It's interesting really, because I don't curse at all, but when I sit to write STITD, my characters speak to me and I just listen and write down what they say. Jeeze, sounds like I need to see a psychiatrist or something. As for Tonks, this story is ten years later and I just never thought to mention her. Maybe I can weave that in there somewhere, but as for now, I've just assumed they are history. Maybe I can kill her off in some dramatic drawn out dung fight with Hermione... well, maybe not!~Ruthie
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Reviewer)
LOL! I'm still giggling over here about this. I was flipping through some channels, and there was a guy on there talking about "getting some from his hoes" and such. I pictured Snape up there. Fricking hilarious!Oh, all right. I'm bad about reading author's notes. I'm gonna make a point to do so, and anyway, I was just wondering. I know now all stories follow canon pairings and wasn't certain. I don't like Tonks much anyway. :)I have a pretty foul mouth, I'm ashamed to say. I think I surprise people I speak to in chat. It just comes out. Something will be said, and my initial reaction is, "Fuck that." LOL Bad!SW
Ah, well, I suppose Snape's gonna contact Hermione for help. Cool. :) Teehee I like that he slipped away with the newspaper without a word.
Response from BloodyBrilliantRuthie (Author of Sex Therapy in the Dungeons)
Somebody needs to hold me up because I'm about to faint! {{{SW69}}} Bless your heart for giving me, a lowly peon, a moment of your time to review! I bow in your presence!I really appreciate your feedback! It means the world to me. ~Ruthie
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Reviewer)
I apologize for never getting around to reading it before. I see it in queue and figure I should get familiar with it. Ya never know when I'll be the one to take a turn on it. I do like the premise and, poor Snape, I won't go into details here, but I do have some experience with ED... Not me of course... but someone close. Teehee
Response from BloodyBrilliantRuthie (Author of Sex Therapy in the Dungeons)
I've had some people flame me in a big way (not on PP) about this story. I can only imagine that they've had some personal experience with ED and it has struct a nerve with them. Some also have serious problems with Hermione's behavior. I get that, but like some just have to lighten up! It's just a story!!! Flames hurt, but concrit is always welcomed! I know that that is what you would give me. ~Ruthie
LOL, How Slytherin Severus is, the excuse he used to Hermione was so decent.... And I think Hermione should be so smart to recognize Serverus' predicament.
The story is so interesting, love it so much.
Response from BloodyBrilliantRuthie (Author of Sex Therapy in the Dungeons)
Thank you

! I appreciate the feedback. STITD will get more interesting, as there is some angst and drama mixed in. Enjoy and thanks for reviewing! ~Ruthie
Wow, SS really is a great kisser! I am jealous of Hermione! And I am loving the references to IT!
Response from BloodyBrilliantRuthie (Author of Sex Therapy in the Dungeons)
Thanks
Response from BloodyBrilliantRuthie (Author of Sex Therapy in the Dungeons)
! Just you wait, there is more to be jealous of! I love IT too! LOL! ~Ruthie
Hm- she is quite presumptuous, isn't she? I perfectly understand the screaming going on in Snape's head right now! Looking forward to your next update!
Response from BloodyBrilliantRuthie (Author of Sex Therapy in the Dungeons)
You will see that my Hermione is a force to be reckoned with! She's a liberated sexual goddess and I love her like that! The plot will thicken soon enough. Thanks for following and reviewing. ~Ruthie
Well, I'm not certain about this chapter. I enjoy your writing and descriptions of course, and while I was reading, I made a vow that if my hubby ever had to see an sex therapist, I'd murder her if she acted like Hermione. I appreciate that she normally wouldn't conduct a session like that.It seemed a little embarassing that she had an orgasm while giving him a hand job. She didn't even seem the least bit ruffled by it. Doesn't Severus think she's a bit unprofessional? Especially by suddenly "threatening" to go Remus after agreeing she'd say nothing. (I hope she truly doesn't betray Snape's confidance.) I guess he wouldn't know, having never been to a therapist like this, but I'm surprised he's not suspicious about her "knowing" the true identity of his friend.Teehee. I do like the snarky comments he gave her about her pawing him, as it was unbecoming and beneath her. I agree, though I think he was just covering his lack of ability. :) I'm interested in what will happen next! See you when it posts.
Response from BloodyBrilliantRuthie (Author of Sex Therapy in the Dungeons)
Hi SW!This is absolutely my favorite chapter! As Hermione is engaging in these out-of-the-ordinary actions, I tried to be clear that she knows this is not what she is supposed to be doing and on top of that, she is very uncomfortable and nervous. But, in her game with Severus she is determined to win! I love this game of cat and mouse!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Reviewer)
Oh, I agree that if I step back from it and view it with a clear mind, it is very cute. I guess I'm just always trying to make things plausible. Well, that doesn't sound right either. LOL! I don't know the word I'm looking for. Like, instead of playing games with him, she should be trying to really help him with his ED since she obviously knows it's him. If she's suddenly triumphant where he says, "You win. Take me--if you can." I just don't know what she's really won if he's too soft to give her anything good. And also, I think probably I'm just biased because I don't normally like sleep around!Hermione. She seems too reserved for that in canon, so it's hard for me to see her painted that way (keeping her "friendship" with Viktor a secret, not openly acting on her feelings for Ron, not liking Cormac's affections at all, being indignant and droven to tears when Rita Skeeter painted her as a harlot, and being hurt when Ron's Mum thought her to be one.) I guess it's hard for me to step away from that Hermione to a new and improved one.But so long as she doesn't sleep around with all kinds of other people in the fic, I don't guess what she's done in her past should reflect in her relationship with Snape. I'm gonna try to be more open when reading, though, as it should be fun for me, too, as a reader, instead of me worrying about the way Hermione acts. And this no way reflects on your ability as a writer, it's just a little different than I normally like Hermione to be. Know what I mean? And that's my own problem, not yours.
Now, this certainly seems to be a story I'll be looking forward to follow; very funny and well written - and with a beta like Wartcap, too! That's just brilliant - I admire her stories very much! It's great that you're posting here - and I'll be checking for updates regularly...Perhaps my blushing on Snape's behalf will fade a little until then?

oh yes it had better be continued....
Response from BloodyBrilliantRuthie (Author of Sex Therapy in the Dungeons)
Yes Ma'am! ~Ruthie
That was definitely an emotional roller coaster of reading material. I started off in the staff room with Hermione evaluating those present, laughing so hard I snorted. Then, the 'incident' had me wanting to cry for the both of them. Hermione for the fact of what happened, even if she could not recall the event. Severus for the torture of his own soul upon realization of what nearly happened. When he broke down in his discussion with Albus, the reader is drawn into the strength of the emotion. With the first dose of tranquilizer not affecting Remus thoroughly, I thought for certain that events were surely about to accelerate out of hand. The constant give and take on both sides, the conniving, the planning, the twisting and turning, keeps the reader hopping and engrossed.
And then, you brought us back around to uncontrollable laughter with the double dose of Viagra and Virility Potion. I did find it intriguing that rather than just heightening the sexual experience, the Virility Potion enhanced all of her senses to the point of sometimes painful experiences.
I found this to be well thought out, well planned, and not overly wordy for the sake of words.
That Frances thing though... Ending it that way was just wrong on so many levels. LOL.
Response from BloodyBrilliantRuthie (Author of Sex Therapy in the Dungeons)
Sending you a simple 'thank you for your review' just doesn't seem like enough. It is clear that you put great thought into your comments. You remember so much of this story! Thank you for your generous review. ~Frances LOL! ~Ruthie
