My real name is Lauri, was born and raised in New Jersey, and have recently relocated to the Gulf Coast of Florida with the love of my life. I love to read, enjoy writing, and lose myself in daydreams quite often... but I earn a meager living as an environmental scientist for an environmental consulting company. HP fan fiction is an obsession of mine - I just cannot get enough, no matter how much I read or write. My favorite pairings are Hermione/Remus, Hermione/Sirius, and Hermione/Severus - in no particular order

Three weeks, Hermione, did you have to open that can of worms?
Ah, how true and how funny, great story, loved the last bit, made me laugh!
i got called on it. and then pretty much the same thing happened. hahaha
Response from siriusly_lupine (Author of A Wizard's Pride)
Oh no! That is funny...Did it put you off faking it ever again?
Response from togspled (Reviewer)
Nope. Just made me a better actress.
Very well done! I seem to recall an article in a magazine (not sure which one), sometime back, that said if the woman did not "flush", she was faking it. Wikepidia has an interesting article on female and male orgasms. Most notable is this comment, perhaps you can use it in the future (since we would all like to see this continued...*grin):
Orgasm is almost invariably accompanied by darkening and erection of the nipples in both men and women.
Mwahahahaha!!! Too funny! Loved it all. (yes, I admit to being in the "faked it" crowd and no, have never been called on it either) I especially adored the hanging ending. Perfection. Thanks for that lovely little romp.

lol...very glad that you loved it!It really is a shame how many of us are in that category... I was torn on the ending at first, but the hanging ending just seemed to keep with the humor - I'm pleased that you liked it.Thank you for reviewing!
*guffaws with laughter* Ohhh, that closer line was precious! AHAHAHAHAHAH! Good job! Now, go write some more!~Lotm

lol... Thanks! I'm glad you liked the closer - I was torn on it at first, but it kept with the humor so I decided to roll with it. Oh, I will definitely be writing some more, I think ;-) Too entertaining not to, after all.Thank you for reviewing!
What a lovely story - and yes oh so recognisable - unfortunately. I liked that he kept it to just asking her about it instead of being all worked up. Severus insecurity and sincerity was really sweet here. Some of the more self-assured wizards we know of would propably have been more "confrontational" about it. Could be fun though to see a comparative analysis of their psyches from the way they would react to this situation - a "she faked it" series!

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it.When I was first hit with the idea, I debated on which wizard to use - I thought perhaps Sirius would be fun, but I didn't want to deal with his arrogance. Severus really felt like the best choice for this particular one.Another reviewer mentioned making a series out of it as well, and I could definitely see how that would be fun. Perhaps I will. Thanks for reviewing!
I really enjoyed that! It had me chuckling both because it was so witty and because it's so true! Well done! :)
Response from siriusly_lupine (Author of A Wizard's Pride)
lol...I'm glad you liked it. It was awfully fun to write, so I am glad that it came out how I intended it to.It really is sad how true it is...but isn't it usually the 'true' things that are the most amusing?Thank you for reviewing!
I so loved this fic. it was just too funny and so very true for many of us females.Keep up the great writing.
Response from siriusly_lupine (Author of A Wizard's Pride)
Thank you! I'm glad that you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.It is so true for many of us...so sadly true.Thank you for reviewing!
More, more!! Do more chapters - each chapter a different couple. Show us how Lucius the self-proclaimed sex god takes it when Cissa reveals she has NEVER had a genuine "O" with him, or Harry and Ginny, or Ron and whoever (not Hermione). More, please! (and thanks for Severus and Hermione having such an excellent "record")
Response from siriusly_lupine (Author of A Wizard's Pride)
lol...perhaps I will do more chapters. I love your idea regarding Cissa and Lucius! That would be so very amusing!! I'm sure I can find the inspiration to write that!Thank you for reviewing!
Clever and funny....OMG can you imagine actually being called on it.
Cheers!
Response from siriusly_lupine (Author of A Wizard's Pride)
Thanks!Oh, I know I would be mortified if I was actually called on it...can't even imagine how horrible that would be. Hope I won't be cursed with bad karma for having written this fic! ;-)BTW, thanks for being my first reviewer!
"but have you ever been called out on it?"
You have to have men who care enough, first. LOL.
Love the closing line, dear. Very good. Entertaining.
*snort* I think he'll need major therapy anyway! Then again, maybe he'll apply himself to trying for perfection each time - imagine being the recipient of all that lovely attention! Great story, I don't think I've ever come across a HG/SS (humorous or otherwise) that had her faking it!
