Hermione finds a magical parchment, and lets her curiosity gets the better of her. My answer to the eleventh prompt of Potter Place (details at the end of the story).

Short and fresh-- nicely done.

Thank you very much. It was one of my first piece in English, so I appreciate the review even more.

I've enjoyed your responses to the Potter Place challenges.
Thank you for another wonderful story.

I'm glad it made you read this older story. I'm even glader that you liked this one as well. Thank you for reviewing.
I like it. I hope Hermione would be able to help him get a new life. :)

That's the point left to your imagination, dear reader. Thanks for commenting.
Nicely done! I enjoyed reading this. Your response to this prompt was very creative!

Thank you. I tried to write something not to cliché, you've just told me I achieved it.
You might want to switch your first few paragraphs from passive voice to active voice. That change would make your story a lot more engaging and exciting.

Thanks for your constructive criticism. I won't probably rewrite this story, but I can try to think of your advice for my future writings.
That was cute... a bit rushed but cute... i wish i had one of those papers...!

Thanks for your comment. I'm aware I have a tendency to write "rushed". I try to develop more in my writings, and I'm becoming better at that, but the tendency is there. That's why I'm proficient with drabbles.
This is wonderful! I'm so glad to see another prompt response. I was considering doing this one as well, but after this story I'm not quite sure now. You wrote an excellent story! Thanks for sharing it!

You'll have me blushing. But I don't want to prevent other authors to write answers to this challenge. Why wouldn't you give it a try? Thanks for your nice review.
I like it. I like the parchment idea. Tightly written, too, no excess verbiage.
Response from septentrion (Author of The Whirl of my Life)
I'm glad you appreciate "tightly written" works because that's my way of writing. I'm in awe with authors who can write 5000 words for only one scene without being boring. As for the parchment idea, it wasn't from me, it was the challenge. Thanks for the review.
Thanks for posting this. I had hoped someone would take up this challenge. I like it very much, and you've done a good job with it. I can only wonder how they work things out. :)
Response from septentrion (Author of The Whirl of my Life)
Well, this challenge was too tempting. I did my best with it, and let you imagine how things work out Thank you for those interesting challenges on Potter Place. Another one is tempting me, but I think I'll write it in French, my first language. My French-speaking audience could grow angry with me if I don't feed them.
Great one-shot. Thanks for posting it.

I'm glad you like it. I assure you it's my pleasure to share.
I like it Having Hermione falling at his feet being the real clincher for Snape turning to the Light, and no real Happy Ever After, just a hint of promise.
Response from septentrion (Author of The Whirl of my Life)
Thank you, Dawn. I wanted to give it an open ending.
i want that parchment now... certainly would make life easier. :)
Response from septentrion (Author of The Whirl of my Life)
I quite agree. Thanks for reviewing.
