55 year old UK female with nothing better to do with her time than read fanfic (and occassionally d(r)abble a little herself). Married with 3 kids (two girls and a boy, 22, 18 & 14 years). Been with husband Brian for *gulp* 30 years; we met digging up bodies in the same cemetery - seriously :}

This was a joy to read! You really had me snorting along with Ginny there at the end. :D

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it
A big old bottle o' rum to you Lass! What a great read. Loved the "Snake Charmer" shirt. I want one!! hehe And I'll help him bury his treasure any day too!! ^.^
Response from DawnEB (Author of 19-Sep)
I can see Tonks picking that one out, while Remus shakes his head and pretends he isn't with her.
Nothing like burying a nice bit o' treasure like that to celebrate yer birthday
Thanks for the review
Arrr matey, this was fun. Hermione as 'snake charmer' eh? It fits.
Response from DawnEB (Author of 19-Sep)
Arrr! An' didn' the lass have a jolly time of charming that thar snake
This was so great! I loved: "Avast behind!", Fred and George kidnapping Lavender, and "Oh, just helping a buccaneer bury his treasure." Hilarious. This was very cute and I really liked the costume descriptions.
Just incase you wanted to know, the hair nets that Molly gave Hermone are called hair snoods. :)
Response from DawnEB (Author of 19-Sep)
I'm glad you enjoyed it. I was a bit worried I'd gone overboard *whee splash* with the descriptive passages.
Yes, I know those type of hairnets are commonly snoods, but historically they have been given other names too, so I went with that but I don't mind being given advice.
Oh, just helping a buccaneer bury his treasure: I have to note this somewhere and keep it safe, that line was priceless!

Oh My! That was funny. What a great birthday present for our resident know-it-all! Cheers!
Response from DawnEB (Author of 19-Sep)
Yarrr! And so nicely wrapped
Very cute story! And what a fitting day to have it appear! We can all wish Hermione a very happy birthday and, at the same, indulge in a little private pirate fantasy.
Try saying that three times:
Private pirate. Private pirate. Private pirate.
If you've managed, the twins are proud of you!
Response from DawnEB (Author of 19-Sep)
I'm glad you liked it - I mean, Arrrr, that be right nice o' yer
LOL! Aaaarhhh, excellent tale, matey!
Response from DawnEB (Author of 19-Sep)
Avast, m'harty, and thankee :)
I loved this story but are you certain it shouldn't have been in the Snape/Hermione category?

I loved this story but are you certain it shouldn't have been in the Snape/Hermione category?
Response from DawnEB (Author of 19-Sep)
It is, but only as a secondary category. I had originally written this as just Hermione's birthday at The Burrow, but couldn't resist the idea of Snape in those tight fitting... *drool* ...Sorry, where was I? Shiver me timbers indeed!
If you haven't tried it yet, these guys are a load of pirate-y fun:http://www.puzzlepirates.com/

I've been trying to avoid them, they look too good . *looks at link, finger twitching* Well, maybe I could just go take a little looksee....
