I know you said this was a two part story, but did you plan for more?  If not, like I said, its a wonderful ending which hints to them establishing something in the future.

As of right now, I won't be writing another sequel to it, as I'm focusing on wrapping up my long HG/SS tale Dark Roast. However, when that is done, I may return to this and write a few smutty drabbles for a sequel. :) We'll have to wait and see!

Honestly, I've never written anything more than a passionate kiss. When I read other writers' smut, I feel woefully inadequate...

*snort*  Nonsense!  We ALL felt that way in the beginning!  (And yes, I most definitely and solidly include myself in that early-inadequacy feeling.)The question isn't so much can you write good smut, as can you a) write what you have experienced (and in this, it's just like writing any other scene; it helps to have personal experience, or a really, truly vivid imagination and a helluva lot of book knowledge), and b) have you ever had a great or at least really good sexual/sensual experience, before?...b) is what stumps most writers, to tell the sorry truth.  I've been lucky; I've had some great encounters as well as lousy, mediocre and good ones.If you haven't had a great or really good experience yet, may I suggest hiring the acquaintance of a BOB*?  These stalwart souls are always ready to perform at a lady's behest, and they never have headaches, rarely quit before you're ready to quit yourself, and are easy maintenance.  (No whinging about "...but the game is on right now, honey!")  Though they all come with the same surname of BOB, they come from a very large and diversified family.  Some are true specialists, others are generalists.  Some perform single tasts, while others perform several, including certain multitasking capabilities....Heck, even if you have a regular boyfriend, there's nothing wrong, shameful, or sinful in acquiring the occasional company of your very own BOB!~Lotm*Batter-Operated Boyfriend...though cyberBOB runs on USB-port computer power!  *grin*

A delightfully entertaining response! :)I think that learning to write smut is very much like learning "that" - it might be bad and stilted at first, but you learn. You learn what works and what doesn't. What gets good responses, and what you can stop doing. I think I'll just have to weed my way through bad writing before I hit on the good writing. It's good to know that everyone starts out the same way, though. It seems like some people just have a gift! -LR
