Hi, well this is an account set up for the two of us to submit our story Pride and Prejudice at Hogwarts. We've also writen a few one-shots and song fics together, so we might be putting them up as well.
We're both Harry Potter mad... *shifty eyes*.... maybe mad is an understatement... obsessive is better. Probably why we're best friends. Well we've both become hopelessly devoted to the Hr/SS pairing.

Hi, this is Sarah. Sorry to disappoint you. I'm afraid that we had a lot of trouble with chapter 2 and have basically given up on the story in general now. Hopefully we'll get it all sorted one day.

I love that! Isn't it fab? I (Soph) had the imagination running wild that day, sitting in Saz's bedroom browsing through our french dictionary, I take credit for that idea (sorry saz) but it's worth it, everyone commented on how funny it was to call our favourite professor a rubber dinghy!! lol. OH GOD!!! I abso-frackin-lutely LOooVE this book, and think that Severus & Hermione would be IDEAL as Darcy & Lizzy. Your idea is just as HOTT as SS/HG as the "Phantom" leads. Write on, you darlings!!!!! MORE, MORE, MORE. I dunno, but I"m seeing them as the P&P leads in the Keira Knightly version (the one w/that VERY SEXY *melt* Matthew McFayden as Darcy (sp?) *swooooonnnnn*

I love Pride and Prejudice, I think it's one of the few things which can convince me to stray from the Potterverse!About the French bits, I think you may want some coaching. Being French myself, I was surprised to see some swearing I've never heard (tonte pis? must be a medieval swearing). Poulet is either chicken or cop but not prostitute. Well thanks for straying *gins*The french, my friend looked up bloody hell, it translated at tonte pis, though i have to admitt we have not checked it with our teachers...... Love that book, so I was thrilled to see your title in the queue and couldn't stop myself... so far, so good. Freaking funny, actually. I love the dialogue. Would love to hear the rest of the translations too, just to figure out which phrase is which and how to call somebody a rubber dinghy (brilliant!). My French just isn't up to par anymore...With your characters, you've established some good chemistry between our leading lady and gentleman. It was all a bit slightly off the original vibe I had from canon, but that's what I get for ignoring warnings! It's all good now that I have my perception switched. I think you'd get some really good tension--esp. on set--out of it if you had them a bit closer to their originals (that's why I was so excited) but I can sort of see where you're going with this and it looks like it will be great anyway!Looking forward to more--happy writing, guys!

Wow, thanks! I'm glad you found it so funny, but it doesn't seem so funny to us when we read it now, as to when we wrote it, but we were slightly hyper when we wrote the french abuse scene.A rubber dinghy is 'canot pneumatique', so if you were to call a person a rubber dingy, it would be Tu canot pneumatique, but although it's random, i can't see it as being too good an insult. lolI'm sorry that you don't like characters being different from canon, but I'm glad that you ignored the warning and read it anyways *gins*. We didn't want to write them as canon Snape and Hermione, we wrote them as how we see them, which differes from person to person, we just couldn't make Snape as bad as he really is, and no-way were we sticking with the ending of HBP, tis too horrible! We both cried for ages after we read it! And I'm determined that Severus really is good..... *grins* I'm glad you like it, and find it funny. I'm sorry, but the next chapter probably won't be up for at least another week, as we've only just sent it off to our beta, and this is a WIP piece, we are writing chapter 4 at the moment.Thanks so much for your review!
Neville as Collins sounds cool, but if Ginny is Lydia Bennet, then who is Wickham? And if Ron is Bingley, who is Jane? Luna might be a nice Jane. Will any Slytherins be in the cast too? Looking forward to the next post!

Starts of a bit like Phantom of Hogwarts. I like the idea though. I can't say that Pride and Prejudice is my favorite novel but I like Austen's characters.It's quite a difficult task you set yourself, you know, because basically it's two stories in one. I'm looking forward to reading more of it.
