Even as a writer, I have a habit of no reviewing.  I tend to save all of the fics I read on my hard drive and read them while I'm offline.  So, if I want to leave a review, I have to remember what I'd like to say and where I found the fic for the next time I get online.  I should start a log or something so I don't forget.  Anyway, I'm glad you like this fic and took time out to leave me a comment.  :-)

Thank you for the backup on my thoughts about the length.  I'm simply no good at writing extremely long fics.  When I start approaching the 50,000 word mark, my little muse putters out.  Anyway, glad you enjoyed the fic!

Sorry the sterility thing threw you!  Here's why I made the decision to do that to poor Snape...  First of all, I wanted to give him a flaw that he would consider an extremely difficult one to overcome in a relationship.  He's in his 40s and he doesn't have a girlfriend or romantic interest.  There's got to be something there other than his bad attitude or his attractiveness.  He's probably quite down on himself because he believes that no woman would want him if he's damaged in such a way.  A more practical reason for using the sterility card is that I didn't want to interrupt the flow of their first time together with a charm or a condom.  It seemed like it would throw the urgency and rashness off if they were premeditating it.  And last - because Hermione is academics-oriented.  While she may want to have children in the future, she's just getting started on the path to doing what she wants to do with her life (potions).  I don't think she would want to take over a year off of her academic and career pursuits at the moment to have a baby.  Plus, I don't think Severus is at a point where he could be a good father.  Maybe in the future, but right now he's just a bit too cold.  So, if I didn't want to use a charm or condom to avoid the possible pregnancy, then I had to explain it away or everyone would be asking me if they're going to have a baby.  So, I used sterility since it went along with my idea of Severus believing he is damaged goods.  Plus, babies scare me, and I run from them.  ;-)

I'm definitely for adoption, and I think more couples should consider it if they find they are unable to have kids.  So maybe there will be some deserving little witch or wizard who gets a happy home with a happy couple in the future.  :-)  Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed it.  And thank you for the lovely comments and your help with the corrections on the fic.

As mischievous as cats can be, I would love one.  Alas, my boyfriend is allergic to them.  It's either him or a cat.  And I think it would be pretty difficult to find another boyfriend I can tolerate.  ;-)

I've read many stories that describe Snape's house or quarters to be beautifully furnished with plush fabrics.  He doesn't seem like the sort of person to pay much attention to that sort of thing.

LOL  I think Hermione has a tendency to be a tad annoying sometimes.  She's not sure how to turn off the overbearing side of herself.  As for your question - yes, I have finished the fic.  The next chapter should be up shortly.  And the one following that should be up by the end of the week.

I'm with you.  I love the quick one-shots that throw the two of them together and let sparks fly, but I always thought that the fics that took things at a slower pace were more realistic.

Thank you!  I'm glad you're enjoying the fic!  After posting the fic in a couple different archives, I've been getting all of this wonderful feedback that includes theories on who the potion is for.  I sit back and think, "Man, I would I would have thought of that!  That would have made such an awesome story!"  Anyway, Chapter 13 is when Hermione learns (and meets) the person the potion is intended for.
