Reviews for Dark Roast
I love seeing Neville and what is going on in his life. Sounds like things are perfect for him. And I love when people don't still hold their schooltime grudges far after they've left the institution.
I do hope the Hermione doesn't decide to finally pop in for a visit to Severus and see all of his love potion paraphernalia and get the wrong idea. *is nervous*
Still can't get away from Severus, can she? Even if it is indirect. I am enamoured with Uncle Archie upon first meeting. How do you do that?!
You write these female bonding scenes so well, no matter the characters. And Molly gets a gold star for being perceptive and willing to give Hermione the nudge she needs. I hope she really does give what Molly said some thought.
I thought somehow there was potentially going to be some animosity between the girls, but then they went and had bonding girl time and all is well. I really enjoyed getting to know so much about Daphane in such a short span of time. It never ceases to amaze me how you can pack so much into a chapter without it feeling as such. And poor Hermione can't talk to anyone without a certain sensitive name being mentioned. Great chapter!
Boy, missy, you're lucky I can just move right on. :)
Poor Hermione. I think she'd almost rather be having nightmares from the war. And poor Severus, too. He made a stupid mistake, but he had good reasons. I just don't think he understood that love should have trumped them all. I suspect (hope?) that Minerva will solve this problem for them. Your writing is perfectly descriptive and lovely as always.
Oh, heartbreaking. It isn't so bad when these two have ugly nasty fights, but when they fight without fuel, but are all raw emotion, resigned to heartbreak, it kills me. Nicely written ... sniffle.
I'd love to see the photograph of Severus and Hermione. What a lovely image it conjures. I wonder what they fought about?
I love coming across older stories that I have never read. Such a short chapter to already have me so interested. What a great project Hermione is working on! After seeing little Liette, how could she not? And now, off to find out more about those three little syllables ...
