I like the way you left it open.  The Voldemort thing aside, I can see Hermione and Viktor having a peaceful and loving life together. 

And, yay!  I finished a story!  Gosh, I feel so accomplished.  And satisfied.  I love ship hopping.

Well, at least Viktor saw that as Ron's jealousy and not something Hermione intentionally did.  It's always nice to date an older man.  (And not a Gryffindor.)

Well, now.  What's after this is all after HBP.  I'm looking forward to reading more!

I hate to say it but had I been there (or been Viktor) I would have been laughing outright at Ron's akwardness and Hermione's response to it. Espeically since Viktor is familiar with her parents. That just totally made my day after reading yet another sad novel. Can't wait for more, Brit

Great chapter. Hermione faces her feelings for both wizards. Now, she just has to determine which one she wants the most...

This is a real treat to read! The letter format and the conflicting POV make for a compelling read.  I could feel Viktors pain in this last chapter.  I enjoyed the trip to France and the romantic flight round the Eiffel Tower. Quite tooth achingly sweet in some parts but it's all good reading in my book!  I'm  eagerly anticipating the next chapter. 

Awww, poor Viktor! He jumped to conclusions and didn't even ask Hermione! But, she seems mature enough to know how to handle it. Hope it works out!

I have to confess I shed a tear for Viktor... ok, more than one tear. First his fear about losing her, then his pain and his broken heart. He’d tried his hand at seeing other women, but nobody had lips like Hermione’s or had eyes that lit up so expressively while reading. What he’d found in one hour with another couldn’t even compare with a minute of being with Hermione. One of the things I love very much about Viktor (or the image I have of him) is that he does things only when he means them, and that he doesn't do things by halves. When he told Hermione about his feeligs he really meant it and he won't change his mind so easily. And the way he kissed her and told her he still loves her... that was so beautiful. I think I will never thank you enough for this gorgeous fic. You're great, hon.

This is heartbreaking, I hope they are together soon.  Wonerful story and I think I like this ship, especially the way  you write it.

Poor Viktor, I can imagine how sad he feels about Hermione's decision, but he has to understand the situations. But he has a point, and through his pov he has very strong and legitimate reasons.I think there's something else to consider, her bond to Harry and Ron is too strong because, IMO, due to the kind of friendship they share, there are more important to each other than anything. The relationship of Harry with the Weasleys has been discussed thoroughly, but what about Hermione's relationship with Harry and the Weasleys? She lied to her parents in order to join the Weasleys, and she seems to spend more time with them than with her own family. He's right, it's different and her feelings are not the same, but there's a fact that he's not acknowledging, she's only sixteen. He's not doing it on purpose, he's measuring with his own feelings, which is quite normal, and he can't expect her to promise him undying love at sixteen. I love when Viktor knows what he wants by eighteen, and loves only Hermione because she's the one for him, but you can't expect the same from her. On the bright side, it was so cute that Hermione keeps clippings about him and worries about his safety while playing Quidditch, nice detail. Thanks for the update, and thanks for writing this pairing. Now I have to go and write some HG/SS because dear Severus is in risk of descending to a second place. Can I just have a tie?

Give me a minute to make my gut unclench...I agree with Viktor, it seems that Hermione's memories of Viktor have faded and god just thinking about the idea makes my heart ache. Perhaps Viktor will be doing something to refresh her memory?Brit
