I love this story.  I love the way you discribed Hermione's experience during the year she was turned to stone. I don't think I've ever read anyone else explaine what Hermione experienced during that terrible event. It should have caused PTSD but JKR acted like it was just another day in the life of Harry's side kick. And I love the way she woos Severus until he really sees her as someone who loves him for who he is and not what he is. I love that they leave and go where no one knows them and they are everything to each other. These two intense individuals only need each other. Normal witches and wizards can't understand all that these two share and Severus and Hermione don't need them to. Great story!  Thank you for writing it. Teddy, you are the best!

I'm not certain how I overlooked this for HP_kinkfest, but I'm so glad I found it here.You write with such imagination and beautiful metaphors.  Zephyr?  I can see her skin react to the wind.  The goose backpedalling across the ice?  Humorous but a beautiful visual.I truly enjoyed your interpretation of the horror of petrification, and the thoughts going through Hermione's mind, as well as the experience of shock upon being brought back to the land of the mobile, as well as her reactions to such.  I've never had the stretch of imagination to consider exploring that passage of canon.  Brilliant as always!  Thanks for a wonderful tale!

So lovely. Really nice pacing and amazing writing. I'm not familiar with the song so the song lyrics didn't do anything for me. I pretty much skipped over the most of the lyrics to be honest -- just couldn't get invested in them (sorry.)

Bloody hell Teddy...l've actually read this story twice in the last 24 hours.....didn't want to miss anything and just wanted to read it all over again.I could say your writing is consistently good but that would be a lie.......bear with me........it is getting EVEN BETTER with everything you are producing. I feel really spoiled that we have had two brilliant pieces of work so close together but am greatly concerned we may have to wait for more. wow  that was nice it's how I would see it happening for them. The piper has been paid let them live in peace, and nobody wants ron ewwww the bad sex would have finished it for me. thanks teddy for the happy ending.

And so they stood side by side, avoiding the inevitable, and Hermione felt that same, hideous, disjointed feeling she had suffered as a teenager, waiting for someone to discover she was still alive, trapped inside her frozen carcass.I'm sure Severus felt this exact same way.  It's everything in one line.  [Silly goose made me laught, too.]
